Description
Safe Zone Animated
I was too eager to release it so not everything is done but should be fine. :P

TODO
Spool up by shield initialization time.
LOD - Since it's a not so commonly used block and usually only one anyway per a base in a rather large radius, it shouldn't have much performance impact.

UPDATE 1
  • Reworked code a bit to make it cleaner and more performant.
  • Added speed based on shield radius. (Thanks to Klime that came up with the final thing that worked.) <3
  • Emissions states now include:
  • Block damaged = black (no emission)
  • Block disabled = red emissive color
  • Block enabled, safe zone disabled = yellow emissive color
  • Block enabled, safe zone enabled = green emissive color

UPDATE 2
  • Fixed missing collision.
  • Fixed emissives on base model not changing color.
  • Fixed emissive being yellow instead of red when not powered.

HOTFIX
Fixed debug leftovers for subtype NRE check.

Honorable mention, Kamikaze and me were trying real hard to figure out getting the safe zone radius but Klime swooped in and BAM, problem solved. :D Thank you both!

REUPLOAD PERMISSIONS
You're not permitted to edit or reupload this without permissions from contributing authors (either listed in the contributors section or following the original mods link) outside server mods and server modpacks.
Server specific rebalance mod is allowed without permission under the added condition that it's uploaded as UNLISTED and following the 'reupload conditions'.

REUPLOAD CONDITIONS

    By reuploading, you are taking any updating responsibility on your own.
    However, any updates I make that would still work for Your mod as well can be integrated.

REMARKS
Even if a mod is an update from another existing mod that has an open permission, the assets or code are still my own, in many cases remade from scratch so I own the rights for any assets in cases where the changes are significant.

Failing to follow any of the listed conditions, I will consider it as copyright infringement and will take action.
If for any reupload inquiries I don't reply within a month and you attempted to contact me at least three times within that month (I just may not have seen it or wasn't able to respond timely after which I forgot about it), you are free to use it as you see fit.

Incompatible with Advanced Block Renamer. Causes a crash when placing a safe zone.

No clue, been a while since I was active so best is to simply try. Load up a test world lol.
I think it's safe and replaces vanilla but no guarantees. 😅

Nice mod, Is it a re-placer? existing old save will have that animation and the mod can be safely removed?

Hi, when placing safe zone that not yet finished, while playing at server!
Player see in the middle of the screen error in while:

Error: Object references not set to an instance of an object.

When safe zone if constructed, this error goes away and it's sniping as expected.

Please fix.
