Fixing Sergent Teddy!

Saving (or Savaging) Sergent Teddy is an unmarked quest in Fallout NV. After killing Caesar at The Fort, there is a bug not allowing you to dialloge with Melody.This causes you to walk around with a teddy bear Quest item. I went and fixed this!

Basic!

Go to Melody
Go to console with ~ button
Type resetquest 0011f9cf
Enter
-Done!-

How I found This

I found a solution that doesen't need mods or other stuffs. This was after trying
reseting NPC
disable-enable
kill-resurect
setally 0001b2a4 (player)
rdf
removereputaion 000f43dd 0 1
addreputaion 000f43dd 11
and finaly it worked with
resetquest 0011f9cf

Now you can give the little girl her teddy!

Ha, bet you thought I would not reply 5 years later. The reset of the quest should work regardless of location of melody. I don't believe her coding allows her to leave her pen area, thought its possible she will run and flee if fort is under attack or other combat is being done. She's likely to hide in the far corners of the pen or run in directions of exits but not leave.

You can summon melody to you with Commands.

type "moveto player" (will only work if she is alive, if not first type "resurrect")
or if you want to move to her "player.moveto

As you can see, her code is 0001b2a4. be sure not to spawn a second melody into the game.

What about, for reasons known only to god, when Melody is somehow outside the "Caesar's Tent" area after entering the Drawbridge?

No, Melody (NPC) is a slave child located at the fort, by the brahmin pit.
