Reforged Galaxy is a difficulty and gameplay amplifying mod for the game intended for improved PvE performance and gameplay. It's still undergoing improvements regularly and i'll try to keep the scenario up-to-date with each major update.
This mod aims to slow down the late game and give meaning to everything you do, whether that be choosing what to stuff in your inventory or what crop to grow.
Some of these changes have made their way to the vanilla game in A12, so there won't be as much of an increase in difficulty in some aspects.

More about Escape From Purgatory - Galaxy Edition Scenario:

This scenario includes 10 starter and 33 additional highly customized planets, ranging from Easy to Ultra Hard, as well as 50+ customized moons, and a bunch of other Solar Systems with randomized planets as well! Many planets in the starting Solar System have multiple moons (up to 4). The starting Solar System includes many highly customized, very challenging POIs, including The Black Pyramid, Foundry Alien POI, Alien Sepulchre, T3 Xenu Armory OTG, Xenu Advanced Power Station OTG, Abandoned Tomb, Abandoned Smelter, OTG Alien Base 1, OTG Enemy Base 1, OTG Destroyed Towers, and many more!

This is an updated/modified version of my Escape From Purgatory Scenario for Alpha 11.x, updated for Version 1.x / Alpha 12.x.

Not only does it include all the custom scenario planets in the starting Solar System, but it also includes the Galaxy Menu allowing you to leave the starting Solar System and explore hundreds, if not thousands, of other, new, randomly generated Solar Systems and planets, plus includes all the Alpha 12 updates including Titanium, Platinum Asteroids, Aluminum Asteroids, Ice Asteroids, new Factions, new improved radar, including CV radar, updated POIs, a bunch of new POIs, and much more!

Additional Customized Features:
Ability to place/use these on CVs:
  • Furnace
  • Deconstructor

Thanks @Vermillion

The current custom blocks will remain until 1.5 but be unobtainable with a message directing players to remove them, then they'll be removed with 1.5.
With 1.4, the new blocks will be moved to the new ID# set along with the new additions.

@[TOG] Xukisy Sorry, I don't know the answer to that yet. I don't think there will be any issues. @Vermillion might have more information.

How does the 1.4 update going to effect the custom items from this scenario? Anything I can prepare so the server update is smooth going into 1.4 update when it lands?
OldTimersGaming  [author] Jan 13 @ 3:20am
@[TOG] Xukisy Ah, yes sorry, my bad. Yes, you would also need to replace the core with an Admin core when you edit those POIs. Good catch!
[TOG] Xukisy Jan 12 @ 4:32pm
Found it. OTGBase3Player.epb both the starters are now admin faction. Should the cores be replace with an admin core?
[TOG] Xukisy Jan 12 @ 3:58pm
@OldTimersGaming, Thanks. I've been able to replace the OTGBaseNew.epb file with my updated one which works in game too. But ...No luck with the OTGStarterBases prefab. I loaded in and the start base was set to admin faction so the playfield.yaml update worked. The base default name is OTGStarterBase3.epb but this file does not exist to overwrite in Prefabs. Which file needs to be replaced?
OldTimersGaming  [author] Jan 12 @ 4:06am
@[TOG] Xukisy Thank you for the comments. Yes, but it will require editing some files and updating those POIs (starter bases).
For the Tropical Starter, find the TropicalStarterOTG folder in your \ScenarioName\playfields folder and edit the playfield.yaml.
Search for: OTGBaseNew
Change faction to: Admin

For the Temperate Easy Starter, find the TemperateStarterOTGENew folder in your \scenario\playfields folder and edit the playfield.yaml.
Search for: OTGStarterBases
Change faction to: Admin

Then you will need to start game, go into Creative mode [use cm in console to toggle creative/survival mode].
Spawn the base. Set access code to each item (fridges, cargo, constructors, etc.) to 0000.
Use the Alt + O to save the POI and Overwrite it and save damaged.
Locate it in your \steamapps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Saves\Blueprints\idnumber\
Copy it and paste it into
\ScenarioName\Prefabs

Love this scenario. Is there a way to set the starter bases so they default to admin when I create the server so they cannot be dismantled for easy mode loot within the first 30 seconds of loading in? Just brought up a MP server and the starter base is public and can be set to private. It means first person in gets to dismantle all the amazing materials in the base. It also means if more than one person chooses the same starter then the starter base might not even be there when they load in. The first person sets it to private and dismantles to walk away with Advanced Constructors, shield, etc to build a base with shield. Seems a "little" too easy for the first person and the second person loads into a hole in the ground.
