This mod is a re-upload of Mr.Troodon's giganotosaurus TLC. Since issues with his computer and dev kit were making it extremely hard to fix the mod's bugs, I reached out to him to collaborate and assist him, so that I could re-upload the mod after its bugs had been fixed. Now, the mod can receive reliable updates and support.

Switching to this mod is simple, and the mod has been setup so that you can keep your TLC gigas from the original mod. Simply add this mod to your server/game and delete the old TLC mod, and you'll keep your gigas!


This mod remaps the vanilla giganotosaurus into this TLC version. This version is much smaller, slightly larger than rex but not the massive kaiju it is in the base game. This is a completely different creature in terms of mechanics, making it much better for both PvE as well as PvP. This turns the only-pvp-viable giganotosaurus into a creature great for both playstyles. In PvE it is an excellent travel and combat mount, while in PVP it ex cells as an excellent siege engine! ….it still however cannot enter boss arenas, as it is too large.


///////////////FEATURES/////////

-Momentum Charge. Like the Woolly Rhino, this giga builds momentum when it runs, increasing its damage as long as it keeps momentum. At max momentum, you get a x2 damage multiplier.

-No rage mode

-A platform Saddle! While small in build area, the platform can support 250 structures max at default, allowing you to get as intricate as you want with the small space!

-Re-balanced stats. The giga has far weaker stats than the vanilla version, but as such gets no nerfs on taming or extremely low level-up values. Base health is 2,100.

-Different taming mechanic: it is a concussion tame like titanosaur and rock elemental, so blast it in the head with cannons or rockets to tame it. It also takes Exceptional Kibble now, unlike the vanilla giga.

-Left click bite. Like vanilla tamed gigas, this giga can damage up to stone with its biting. This attack is base 100 damage.

-Right click headbutt. Giga's main use in siege, if not carrying a platform, is to be a battering ram. This attack has base 80 damage and deals less towards creatures, but has a staggering x5 damage multiplier towards structures (Tek structures will still take a smidge less than other structures). Combine with the giga's momentum-gaining charge to smash through enemy structures. This attack has a 5 second cooldown in between uses and a stamina cost of 80, and cannot be used with insufficient stam. No standing at the enemy's wall for you and headbutting. Take that 5 second window to wind up for another full-power charge!

-C key thrash attack. This attack cannot be used while moving, has a 165 stamina cost and a slight cooldown. This attack has base 140 damage and hits four times. Like the normal bite, this damages up to stone structures, but also inflicts allosaurus-styled bleed.

-X for an aesthetic roar which can be used while moving.

-Left Control+X for an more aggressive, stationary roar.




/////Crossplay with AC2: Wild Ark////
If you run Additional Creatures 2: Wild Ark with Mr.Troodon's Giga TLC, you'll get a bit of crossplay.
The roars of the TLC giga will now inflict High Startled from AC2, and the stationary roar will now inflict Intimidation, like Andrewsarchus and Metriacanthosaurus.

In an upcoming AC2 update, the TLC Giga also falls under Smok saurovindico's multipliers and is effected by Shantungosaurus's AoE buff.
