Description
The Defiant is a Star Trek escort destroyer designed for being fast, compact and deadly. Features 4 heavy plasms cannon points, multiple other utility points, and a 3.5 coax mount behind the Deflector. Armored under the hull, and highly manuverable for a 9 slot ship... the Defiant is an excellent escort for your primary ships in the fleet.

A SivCorp commssioned ship.

Amazing model and with some tweaks even good for mid-game expert difficulty!
I want to build a fleet out of them!
Pulse Cannon and Bolter also work well!

Tina Turner award for 'Simply The Best' design I've found for early game manoeuvrability, cargo space and gun mounts.
Thank you for taking the time to build this awesome ship!

Oooh! Viewing specified blocks and merging them together accomplishes this! Incredible, thank you for this insight, now I just have to get better at modelling ships to look good hahah! Though I think your Defiant and Odyssey ships are going to remain my go-to favorites for gameplay. So far I cannot best their design, stats or quality with my own ship creations

Thank you! There are some ways to build in the game that lets you overlap blocks and transform them into different things. It helps with having an optimal design.

This is a fantastic design! So far all of your designs are the most optimal creations I've played with, I love your work! And correct me if I'm wrong, but are some of the internal blocks merged together? I mean, when I look inside the ship I see multiple blocks of different types (e.g. shield generator merged with an integrity field generator) how do you accomplish this with your builds?

Thanks, for the coax you have to use the required coax blueprint on the interior turret pad. Once that is set, you can place a coax there and the fire point will be at the front of the deflector.

Havent figured out the coax mounting, can you explain?

you have to equip them to a number, and right click to fire them.
