Description
Aegis Inc. Hephaestus-Class Miner Carrier

The Hephaestus-Class Miner Carrier. A sturdy and well shielded midgame miner/carrier for Aegis Inc. Its primary purpose is to transport large numbers of mining drones to mining sites but is completely capable of mining on its own. The Hephaestus-Class is built from 8406 blocks and has 8 upgrade slots. Its full armament consists of 22 Heavy Mining Turrets, and 10 Turbolaser Cannons. Stats are in the screenshots.

No worries I look forward to the update. It took 10 mins just to change some things around to make it work. It’s not pretty but It runs with a heavy escort anyway.

Yeah its because i used stacked blocks which past 2.0 deletes them. Ive gotten to my other Star Wars ships and updated them but not all of these yet.

I think an update broke this. No power generation or capacity and no assembly blocks for the fighters.

here we are in 2022 and this is still my favorite mining vessel. I miss the stacked blocks though. it really bites into maneuverability and futureproofing. hope you can update her soon bud. I miss her agility!

Yeah its because this ship used stacked blocks originally so since the 2.0 update deletes them, my ships have become slower. I hope to get to fixing most of my ships but it won't be any time soon.

I think at some point they must have adjusted how thrusters or gyros affected turning, because now when I am getting back into this game this ship has very slow turn speed, which is a bummer

Honest to God this is really one of the coolest original designs I have seen for this game, hands down. I am really impressed, and yet also annoyed because the rest of my own ships look drab now ;)
