https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1833592940

- Added bulk recipes for canned-stuff, lavish and extravagant meals.
- The 1.3 mod now uses the Universal Fermenter instead of the previously included Expandable Fermenting

RimCuisine 2: Meals and Munchies Expansion for 1.0

Welcome to RimCuisine 2: Meals and Munchies! This expansion mod is focused on expanding your colony’s repertoire of snacks, foods, and meals for your pawns to gorge themselves on!

------------------------------------------------------------

New Snacks: New snacks including crisps (chips), cupcakes, and icecream for your pawns to delight themselves on!

New Meals: Make primitive nutrient paste in the form of Rubaboo or revel in gluttonous excess with the Extravagant Meal!

New Food Preservation: Make ingredients last basically forever by canning them! Canned meat, canned vegetables, canned fruit, and canned meals can be made at a cannery! Canneries require electricity and use steel as a fuel source. Canned goods are not only a great way to preserve and store food (being 5x as compact as raw ingredients and last forever), but also are a good trading commodity! Everyone loves canned goods!

The Rim-Co Cook-o-Matic 9,000,000,000 XXXL: This high-tech piece of machinery, made from spacer components, plasteel, and a lot of love is your colony’s solution to.. Well, anything food related. Despite being a power hog at 800 W, this machine lets you produce just about any food en masse. Mass produced meals, ingredients, snacks, and drinks! Requires less skill to make stuff than a regular stove, plus saves time! The Cook-o-Matic requires both Advanced Cooking and the Fabrication techs to make, plus plasteel and spacer components (subject to balancing in time).

--------------------------------------------------

To-do List:

Work on balance!
Minor art tweaks and fixes.
Bugfixes (hopefully there aren’t any!)
Compatibility patches!
More snacks?!?! We’ll see!

--------------------------------------------------

Compatibilities:

Same compatibilities as RimCuisine 2! Go read my rant over there! ;)

How do I bake pizza? The only way to spawn pizza that I know of is dev mode

Oop, nevermind, now it works.

Weird, I just built a Cook-o-matic and I can't right click on it to force a pawn to cook using it. Do I need to save and reload?

@a_COW_says They are defined as snacks and never to be eaten for nutrition. They are to be seen as a source of joy, not food.
This seems to be intentional by the original author

pawns and game does't recognize the CRISPZ are a source of food ( tasted with multiple stacks around across several different play sessions (vanilla to modded)

game it self doesn't recognize is food (constant low food promt) even with dev stacks of 9k across map)
will eat when forced. WONT be picked up or eat on there own if in pawn inventory, stock pile, rim fridge, medevil storage, deep storage
PLZ fix.

@Mutie Well they are described as bulk recipes so I think 10 is right

@Mlie, that was quick! I see that the stove version still makes 10x meals and uses 20 nutrition. Should this be 1x meal and 2 nutrition instead, to better match the other cooking recipes in the stove?
Mlie  [créateur] 27 avr. 2024 à 7h01
@Mutie Should be fixed now

Hey, there seems to be a mix-up with the Extravagant Meal recipe. It costs 20 total nutrition in the stove and makes 10 meals - but in the cook-o-matic it also makes 10 meals and costs an insanely low 2 total nutrition, making it very very efficient. I imagine the recipes costs got flipped around at some point, and perhaps the stove version was meant to make just 1 or 4 instead of 10 meals.

Okay, thanks. I think that's why.
