Advanced Refineries v2.0

Description
This mod adds 10 refinery blocks, one for each ore type in the game. They can be placed on both large and small grid. This mod does NOT contain small grid versions of upgrade modules. They are also integrated in with the progression system.

Each refinery un-modified will produce as many ingots as a refinery with 4 yield modules, as fast as a refinery with 4 speed modules, and with the power efficiency slightly better than a refinery with 2 efficiency modules. Each refinery can have 2 modules attached on the sides allowing for even more of what you need.

The refineries all have the same component cost except the Stone Crusher, which is slightly cheaper.

This mod currently supports ore mods:

If you have an ore mod that you'd like to see supported look for a discussion thread for mod compatibility. (Please only ore mods that give vanilla ingots at this time, I'll update this if I find a solution I like for modded ingots)

If you find any sort of bugs please post them in the Bug Report discussion thread.

PLEASE USE THOSE DISCUSSION THREADS CREATED BY ME OR THE MOD COMMENTS FOR BUGS/COMPATIBILITY/FEATURE REQUESTS. I do not get notified if a new discussion thread is made and thus I may never see it.

AVTech brings you another miracle of science! Have you wanted to finish building that one super cannon only to find that you are out of the raw materials you need to finish that last superconductor or other high value component? You go out and gather the necessary ore and then wait AGES for your hot-rodded refinery to painfully chew through it. What's more is you had to make a trade-off between Yield, Speed, or Power Efficiency. What if I told you there was a better way? Introducing Advanced Refineries Mk II! These puppies were heavily over-engineered to give you the best of all worlds! They boast the speed of a refinery with 4 Speed Modules, the yield of of one with 4 Yield Modules, and the power efficiency better than one with 2 Efficiency Modules! What's more it is only 1/8th the size of a that massive refinery; 1/12 if you account for all the modules you'd be integrating! It even has four extra upgrade slots to get EVEN MORE POWAH!

Now you might be thinking this sounds amazing! How can you even accommodate that much versatility in such a small package? Well, that's where the the Advanced Refineries Mk II encounters it's limits. Our researchers worked for many months to make a machine with all the versatility of a full fat refinery but with all the the feature upgrades of the Advanced Refineries Mk II. The few prototypes tested not only proved prohibitively costly, they were also violently unstable. (Our thoughts go out to all the employees affected by the failed tests. We will reconstruct our testing facilities, this time we will strive for full SE-OSHA compliance. I know how much we are all concerned with Phil, rest assured that he is receiving the best medical care and will be able to rejoin the team within 3-5 years.) The only way we were to manage a stable system is to specialize each refinery to a particular metal. However this drawback does actually prove to be a blessing in disguise. While a full fat refinery can only process one ore at a time, if say you need to process some gold and platinum but find that your uranium supply is dangerously low. Instead of trying to manually move ores around sometimes fighting with the sorting systems, you could build more big fat refineries OR you could install one of our Advanced Refineries Mk II for each needed metal! More ingots, more faster, more efficient! That's AVTech!

dmn small grid refineries are big O.o I can see it as a balance thing i gues, wish it was a 1x1x2 block instead

Love the concept but it sounds a little too OP for me. My suggestion would be to have each refinery be equivalent to having two yield mods and one efficiency mod. Then only have large grid refineries with the option to add 4 mod slots. I would see this mod as refineries that would be placed at mining outposts where you would go pick up the refined ore to take back to your main base. Just my opinion of course! Good work on this mod though.

looks good, maybe will get them for small grid as well, atm i am not using any large grids. not even nps. all small...
looks better than V1 and seems to work just as good. + pls keep updated. shame to lose this

Nice mod! I always thought SE should have ore-specific refineries. But as one who thinks refineries are a bit too buffs, the extra buffs on these refineries are not my favorite feature.

I can't believe no one has commented on this yet. I loved the v1.0. This is even better. I love the new models and the upgrade ports are an awesome idea. Moar conveyor ports = Moar betta.
