After not playing Darkest Dungeon for a while, I've returned.

As of January 25. 2021, I've removed some mods I don't really use. All mods in this list should work together. The current order is how you should load them, WITH SOME EXCEPTIONS: I put the The Pet Cemetery mod above the other 2 Pet mods, and I put the Asset Variety Project mod at the very top. I added a few new classes (removed others) and they should go with the other class mods. There is a Steam bug that prevents me from saving edits to the Collection order.

This is a collection of mods that I enjoy playing with so far, but am still testing. This collection primarily serves as an easy way for me to keep track of what mods I am currently using, all in one place.

I have done my best to order the items below in the way they should be loaded on the modlist. I have also done my best to group them by type.

A few notes:
  • I find that more classes can be fun, but too many make it extremely difficult at times to form proper teams, especially early on when the Coach hasn't been upgraded much, or if you get unlucky with Trinkets.
  • I enjoy a difficult game. The base game wasn't necessarily difficult enough for me. But I don't want just artificial difficulty (aka handicapping the enemies, or penalizing myself) but rather, additional complexity and options. More choices = more sacrifices.
  • I am finding the no level restrictions to be too easy, but like the idea for immersion sake and am trying to find other mods/ways to ramp up the difficulty, possibly playing on Darkest difficulty.
