Ever wondered how your team would fare against other adventurers?

Description
This mod will add heroes as rare monster encounters to the 4 core regions. You'll be able to face off against full parties of 4 Fallen Heroes or find just a few of them walking about in hallways. The encounters are rare, as they are a force to be reckoned with. (About 1 encounter every 4/3/2 dungeons for Apprentice/Veteran/Champion respectively).

Each hero has 2 trinkets equipped (you can't see which ones though), their buffs are hidden. The "rarities" of the trinkets scale with the quest level, so that apprentice Heroes have uncommon trinkets while Champion heroes will have Ancestral or even Trophy trinkets!

Loot will also be bountiful if you manage to beat Fallen Heroes, as they've been scavenging loot themselves. Antiquarians especially give nice stacks.

And in case you were wondering, these are all post-patch versions of the heroes, with all the new crit effects etc.

Sounds are in! All heroes including Shieldbreaker and Flagellant now have sounds!


New Quirk: Tracked

Causes Affixed Fallen Heroes to spawn. Affixes are explained in the glossary in detail.

Chances:
1 Tracked hero: ~8%
2 Tracked heroes: ~12%
3+ Tracked heroes: ~16.5%


Compatibility

This mod should be compatible with every mod out there, except of course other mods that adds heroes as enemies (assuming they use the same monster ids, e.g. PBD, which inspired this mod).

Load Order: Should not matter at all. If you want to be safe put it at the top, this mod will not overwrite anything, as all the files are original with unique names.

Credits

A huge thank you to Maester Silvio for allowing me to use the Fallen Heroes he had made for PBD as a baseline for this mod. It helped out immensly as I only had to make Abomination from scratch, while for the others I had all the files/anims etc. named and structured correctly.

@StealYoBitch, I have encounter Jester who have used solo and then on round 2 (or maybe 3) did 74 crit finale or Abomination who round one transform rage for 52 crit! Where these dmg numbers are coming from? It shouldn't be possible even with dmg trinkets.
Seriously a lot of fallen hero parties are build as suicide kamikadze instead of ballanced, suriviolist teams like ours where we try our best to prevent anyone dying.

4 Jesters is gurnteed that someone in your team gonna die, since back row are gonna use battle ballad or solo, while front position with finale. They won't care if 1-3 jesters die as long as they secure a kill

Or 4 Flagelants - that is instant retreat or prepare for party wipe. Bleeds everyone in your team, constantly heal themselves, they have very high stun resist, and if anyone of them die - will activate undodgeable post death stun attack on your entire team, while heal everyone in their team. Such a broken class

This mod is insanely unbalanced, Week 3, just ran into a full party of 3 Jesters and one Crusader, within 4 turns the Jesters had +32 Dodge buffs and were landing 42 damage Finales against my party.

It's a brilliant idea for a mod, but PLEASE fix the balance for god's sake.

Is there any way to modify the AI in this mod? I absolutely love it, but I can't stand how they will hard-focus my healers. Level 0 vestals just get an instant death sentence if I run into a fallen heroes fight, but I really don't want to remove the entire mod if I don't have to

The mod has a cool idea and concept, but it is quite unbalanced in the balance of battles. But balance is another matter.
In my opinion, this mod can be given a very cool development by adding new character classes in the form of opponents instead of standard heroes. There are many mods for hero classes, and even more that are perfect in their style for special enemies. And under such a mod, it would be an ideal use. For example, imagine if there were, for example, such opponents against our heroes:

i usually get about a half dozen gems depending on the dungeon difficulty, along with difficulty suitable trinkets, i get very rare on darkest difficulty

you get rare trinkets? What's the load order you got? No encounter gave me more than 1000 gold
