Description
Does exactly as it says!

How it works
All player/party items are scaled to the player's level once obtained and on level up. This includes items already in your inventory when you load the game, meaning you will not have to start a new game for this to take effect.

Note that higher quality equipment may naturally have greater equipping requirements when leveled up. Bonuses given by the equipment such as "+1 Intelligence" etc. will also naturally increase.

The screenshots above were taken at Level 1 and Level 20 (done by using a command not available in the mod) on some basic equipment to show the effect.

Norbyte Extender
If you have the Norbyte Script Extender installed, this mod will gain the following features:
  • Items higher level than the player will not be downscaled.
  • You will be able to select what rarity tiers you would like to include / exclude to scale with you. See the above screenshot!

Highly Recommended Mods
No Equipping Requirements. This is just generally nice to have as equipping requirements will increase as items are leveled in this mod.

Troubleshooting
I understand this may be the first or only mod a lot of new players might install. With that said...

If the mod "doesn't work" then you've likely not enabled it in the mod menu. After subscribing and loading the game, click on the Mods section in the Main Menu and check mark this mod then click Accept.

If it still doesn't work, and you're convinced you've actually followed the instructions, then message me on discord @frasdoge#1996.

no issues here.

Just in case someone get here attempting to fix the same error, knows there is a solution.
I installed another mod called LeaderLib (DE Edition). When enabled, this mod gives us a book in game that let us change a bunch of mod's configurations.

From there, I reached the auto level up mod configuration and disabled all auto level ups, followed by re-enabling them - and that did the trick.

Just to clarify: the mod worked for some time, but now it doesn't.

The mod is not working for me and the Norbyte's Script Extender debug shows this message:

AutomaticItemLevelling/AIL_OsiFunctions.lua:12: in function <AutomaticItemLevelling/AIL_OsiFunctions.lua:1>
dse::esv::lua::ServerState::QueryInternal(): Handler for 'AIL_RarityUpOrDownScale' failed: [string "AutomaticItemLevelling/AIL_OsiFunctions.lua"]:12: attempt to index a nil value (local 'itemLevelList')

Also not currently working for me. Its the only mod enabled. Dropping & re-picking up (as suggested below) also doesnt work. My char level 6, gloves level 2.

Having an error. its not leveling up my equiptment. I thought it was the gravewalker mod, but I disabled gravewalker unique leveling and it hasn't fixed. I use extender and a the divinity mod loader. Mods and order available on request

Fixed, turns out another mod was causing this. Fixed, thank you 😇

@fumbles Check you've enabled it in the mod menu in game. Maybe you've already done this, but a lot of people new to modding don't realise this needs to be done. You don't need the script extender for this mod, but I would recommend it if you can for all the features to be usable.
