Weapons, shields, and armour no longer have equipping requirements.

How is this different from things already on the workshop?
This doesn't remove scaling from weapons, and is compatible with mods that rework the weapon system by patching the stats files through a script.

Given the number of overhauls coming out and their popularity, I think this is a nice way of going about making small changes that are highly compatible.

Compatible with everything (which is the entire point).

@frasdoge We got it to work. Cant remember how. I think steam deleted files (been doing that ever since the new DOWNLOADS UI update) of the mod cuz it "updated" my workshop and then everything worked again

Just reached level 4, majority of items got unequipped and saying that we dont have enough in the required stat for the armour

@Typhoon This mod doesn't touch anything to do with that. More than likely you're using my Automatic Item Leveling mod, and it's a setting that's described in the mod description.

Hi, i noticed that my high level weapon automatically downgraded to my current level. Think it's caused but this mod.

@ZyramRo I've basically never used the crafting system to make armour, so I wasn't aware that anything had a requirement like that. I haven't played the game in a few months but I can make some time to fix issues with my mods. If you could send me your save (or link to a google drive with your save) to my discord 'frasdoge#1996' it would help me understand the issue and make sure any fix I make works on already made saves.

Not sure if you're still updating this much, but I've got a problem with the Carrion armor in act 2 - it requires finesse armor to craft, and since no armor requires finesse, I cannot find items to craft the armor. Once I make it, I'll probably turn this back on - just letting you know, great mod otherwise and thanks for it!

@hecc This mod doesn't touch anything other than the requirements for an item to be equipped. This is a link to the source code of the only file that does anything. [github.com]

I'm not sure if this mod is having issues with my other mods but I have a minor annoyance where you would be able to find items that were once in the game but were 'recycled'.

I've tested by enabling and disabling this mod and opening the 'Chest with Confiscated Goods' in the opening ship, before Fort Joy. A couple of examples I saw were:

- A dagger called 'Hockham's Razor and wand named 'Kiss Of Death'
- A wand named 'Radeka's Thorn'.

All of these are basic weapons. They're generally 3-4 damage and nothing else. They just don't fit. Like they just feeled duped or recycled based off of items you could get later in the game.
