Pavia, 1525

Just played it. The scenario is cool, and being an Italian loving the battle of Pavia I was thrilled to try it out. However, it should be improved: way too much explanation, exceeding the purpose of the game. The map is boring: no features, no enrichements, just a couple of trees and a road. It feels cheap. The units are well done, and interesting, however the AI needs to be more aggressive, perhaps mimicking the tactics of the real battle. Add more details to the map as a start. Keep up the good work!

Nice idea for a scenario, fast download, clear target, everything was fine. Good work! I lost all my cavalry too and the swordsmen a too slow so they died almost all - musketeer is the winner :D

@robeano I personally don't like fixed force scenarios where almost everything is scripted and the player has very little control over their units. The charge of the French cavalry in this battle is one of the defining moments in European military history - it showed that cavalry was starting to become obsolete in the face of pike and musket - so I kept that in. But after that it's up to the player.

its just a battle with only one scripted charge of the french cavalry. But what ever its not like it takes long to download and if you don't like it you can delete it.

The best scenarios I played from AOK Heaven were packed as one-scenario-campaigns. Simply the superior way to make a scenario.

it's a campaign in history, but a scenario here, i was close to making the same minor mistake my self on my Hastings 1066 scenario, until i looked up the difference between campaigns and scenarios... but thisi s easy to edit, so it really isn't a problem, not really worth mentioning anyway. but this looks cool, is it hard? do you have to use proper strategies in order to win? i'll give it a shot, looks epic!
