Welcome to Mare Nostrum by andi & lighting_strike97.

BE SURE TO USE THE DATASET WHEN PLAYING, OTHERWISE MOST OF THE THINGS ON THE MAP WON'T WORK!

This map tries to represent the political climate of Europe in the 15th century, staying as true as possible to the historical sources but also trying to balance it for gameplay purposes while adding some cool features.

The Ottomans are rising, and their rise sees the downfall of most countries they come in contact with; the marriage of Isabella and Ferdinand has made Spain into one of the strongest European countries; the coastal cities of Europe are booming with different goods and the Italians are set onto creating a monopoly on the trans-Mediterranean trade; the Hungarians are wary of the Ottomans and are trying to keep them at bay, this is a time of turmoil in Europe and only a brilliant ruler will make his country succeed, are you one of them?

Civ list: P1 - Spanish / P2 - Italians / P3 - Turks / P4 - Saracens / P5 - Italians / P6 - Berbers / P7 - Berbers / P8 - Magyars.

- AFRICAN COLONIES IN NUMBER OF 3 = AFTER 30 MINUTES, AVAILABLE TO P4,P6,P7 - SEND 10 TRADE CARTS TO THE AREAS.

- RELIC GENERATOR - ROME CAN SPAWN RELICS EACH 20 MINUTES <- BUY IT WITH 2000 GOLD BY PLACING A UNIT ON THE TORCHES IN ROME.

- LEGALISM AND MYSTICISM - P3,P4,P6,P7 CAN CHOOSE BETWEEN ONE OF THEM BY DELETING THE CORRESPONDING PALISADE.

- CHEMISTRY - CAN'T BE RESEARCHED - WILL BE RESEARCHED AUTOMATICALLY AT 20 MINUTES, 10 FOR P3.

- CRUSADE - OWNING RHODES AS P1,P2,P5,P8 AND TAKING JERUSALEM -> CRUSADE BONUS = +20 HP +2 ATTACK FOR ALL MILITARY UNITS FOR THE REST OF THE GAME.

- MERCENARIES - RECRUITABLE AT THE CORRESPONDING CAMPS BY PLACING A UNIT ON THE FLAG FOR 100-120 GOLD.

- Austrian Mercenaries: Heavy Pikeman and Hand Cannoneer, next to P8's base.
- Swiss Mercenaries: Heavy Pikeman and Hand Cannoneer, next to P2's and P5's bases.
- Tercio Mercenaries: Heavy Pikeman and Hand Cannoneer, next to P1's base.

that is a problem with aoe2 which is sometimes causing that for some apparent reason

1.07: changed some victory conditions, added a mission for spain.

1.06 update: fixed some quests, merc camps, missions and other stuff
dataset v6: fixed pike tech for ottos, fixed galleons, added stone to castle.
be sure to play with the newest versions always

v1.01 fixed aforementioned bugs and other bugs ive discovered while working on this, map should be bugfree for the moment

keeps spamming being over 3 wrokshops right of fthe bat
