Now thats only a minor thing but could that be fixed?
But honestly:
Communist International was only the alliance of communist parties - not a formal alliance of any kind between nations like "The Axis", "The Allies", "NATO" etc. I would even say that "The Allies" or "The Axis" aren't any formal/official names as well.
I needed an immersive name that covers The Soviet Union and all of it's satellite states including Mongolia, Tanu Tuva and later Poland, Romania, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria etc. thus "the Soviet sphere of influence". It was never supposed to be any kind of formal alliance name.
I know that Comintern was dissolved in 1943, but:
1. At least Comintern existed. There was NO SUCH alliance called the Soviet Sphere - the closest I can find is the informal term 'Soviet bloc' and that's Cold War era. So, you call this name 'realistic' and 'immersive'!?
2. Comintern was dissolved in 1943, which is considered late game. In most of my games, WW2 ends by 1941-1942 and all 7 starting majors are dead by then.
I just realised it when looking at the score screen, and it's killed my immersion.
Worst part is, modifying your mod's files cannot change the name now, once at game start the name is fixed, its fixed forever, unlike country names which can be modified on the fly.
The visual aspect of my run is ruined now. And I'm rightfully mad.
