A featured attraction in the current Heavyweight divsion, Adam Kownacki's persistent pressure has made him an exciting, all-action draw with a dedicated Polish fanbase.

Born in Lomza, Poland in 1989, Kownacki moved with his family to New York City in 1996. Inspired by fellow Polish import, Andrew Golata, Kownacki took up boxing and won the New York Golden Gloves several times before going professional in 2009. Kownacki has defeated a number of notable mid tier fighters including Artur Szplika, Charles Martin and Gerald Washington. He was offered a shot at Anthony Joshua and his titles in 2019 when Jarrell Miller failed his drug tests, but turned the fight down, believing he still needed time to build up to the highest level. Kownacki took on the tough as nails Chris Arreola in a thrilling shootout in 2019, winning the decision, but has found his first taste of defeat in 2020, caught by Robert Helenius in a shocking upset defeat by TKO.
