STAR WARS REBEL QUASAR CARRIER

Description
This is my rebellion/ Imperial - depending on color scheme. But anyways this is my ground up build of the Rebel Quasar Carrier.
Spec's
175 blocks long
143 blocks wide
25 blocks deep
PCU 308987
Total Blocks 96388

This ship at the time of being published has been put into station mode to help with peoples computers, I like to build big and make it semi realistic as possible. Currently Im building this off my laptop and I barley see sim speeds below .7 so this works well enough on my comp.

With the more I build the more I refine my technique in the building process, of not wasting blocks and using mods to lower the pcu usage to help improve sim speeds. i would like to stay vanilla as much as possible but when building on scales like this to help with the processing power of computers its not becoming feasible.

The Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier was built by the SoroSuub Corporation , a Sullust-based shipwright corporation Its triangular structure made it similar to other dagger-shaped Imperial spacecraft, including Star Destroyers. Unlike Star Destroyers, however the bridge was located at the frontal point and the hangars at the base. The structural integrity of the Quasar Fire spaceframe was questionable, being subject to micro-fractures while reverting from hyperspace to realspace. This much was alleged by a report issued by Mid-Rim Shipwrights.

The four hangar bays had space to accommodate up to 48 starfighters, however, some Imperial light carriers operated with as few as ten TIE/sa bombers and four TIE/ln space superiority starfighters. The Empire used such carriers in orbit of occupied planets, allowing for easy dispatch of fighters whenever necessary

Due to their efficiency and fragility, they were accompanied by their own battlegroup. They were scattered across the galaxy, and only brought together when the Alliance needed a large concentration of starfighters.

That being said My Carrier can fit 3 Xwings side by side with no issues up top and on the bottom of the hanger deck, with room to spare for multiple A-wings as well as Y-wings in the same hanger bay, SOOO. needless to say that the Carrier can hold great fighter support, and give that Close Fighter Support when needed.

Being powered by 3 main sub_light, 2 fast maneuvering, and 2 Main Hyperdrive engines, the carrier is more than capable of out maneuvering most capital ships in order to do Hit and Run mission.

Having a wide array of weapons with multiple overlapping firing arcs, the Carrier is well defended against fighters and frigates. Anything more than that will be problematic and that is where the speed and maneuvering capabilities of the carrier will have to come into play.

The main inspiration that came of this was the Star Wars Armada game, with their micro miniature, along with my old carrier model i built many many moons ago, as well google is a wonderful thing with lots and lots of photos.

Again i would like to thank the creators of S.E. along with the numerous builders and Youtube channels that gave me the designs, inspiration, dirive and passion to make a ground up recreations. I still want to thank Sauron2012, Keen, Captains, Jack and Shack, TexFire, Wastedspace, Blinky, LSG, Morphollolologist, Sage, and all the others thank you for all you have done, keep it up.

will this work without the mods?

The mods are used to keep the pcu's down on big builds, I.E. the more pcu's the more lag the build has. And as well there are just some blocks that are not in the base game that make some builds better. But its mostly for keeping the lag low.

Why dose everything have mods
