La Axolotl's hertiage is a testament to the myriad array of diverse permutations that humanity can produce. Her mother was a beauty on the beaches of Cancun, while her American father, a biology teacher, came from a mix of Sao Paulo residents in Brazil on his own mother's side, and El Paso refinery workers in Texas on his father's.

As such, La Axolotl was fluent in multiple languages and cultures, exceedingly proud of all. Her mother, a lifelong fan of Lucha Libre passed her love for the sport and its rich heritage along, and Axolotl knew she wanted to become a Luchadora from a young age. Taking inspiration from her father's teaching, she named herself off the Mexican Walking Fish, a salamander known for its striking appearence and recuperative abilities.

However, one thing became clear to La Axolotl, who had preferred the more grounded technicans like Blue Demon, El Experto and Negro Casas, and that was that she wanted to bring back the older, more mat based style of Lucha back to the present. It is said by some in the Senatorial Office that all roads lead back to Thiago Gracie, and Axolotl was further proof to this axiom. With her distant familial connections, her father managed to have her spend several summers training at the Thiago Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym, and managed to quickly integrate the intricacies of the art into her fast paced Lucha style.

Axolotl, a free agent for most of her short career, now has signed a conditional contract for the Senatorial Office and the Texas Independent Pro Wrestling Federation, but has also kept the door open to work anywhere she can find a match.
