You will then be able to upgrade the K9000 Cyberdog Gun via workbench[fallout.wikia.com] assuming you meet the skill requirement (Gun 75).

Using Console Commands

The console can be opened using the ` key (under Esc) while in-game. You can add items to your inventory using the following command:

player.additem <base ID> <amount>

DLC items will have "xx" in their base ID. The value of "xx" changes depending on the load order of your DLC/mods. If you have all the DLC and no mods, the "xx" of Old World Blues items will be "03". If that doesn't work, you can either check the load order in a mod loader, or check the wiki[fallout.fandom.com] for more help.

@HybridHunter13, there are 2 copies. One is given to you if you have high enough gun skill. Another is found in X-12 carried by a Trauma Harness. Outside of that you will have to use the console.
