Description
This is the second mission in a series following the events on Colonial World 55984 "Winter Wonderland" and the Spartan II Team ONYX. Set in the Halo universe, this story unfolds shortly after the events on the planet Harvest. The UNSC Frigate, The Phantom Shadow, and her crew have been tasked with the long term mission of looking for Insurrectionist uprisings on colony worlds on the outskirts of human occupied space. The evening following the destruction of the Pelican "Recon 1" Captain Francis tasks The Spartan IIs of ONYX Team to secure a foothold at the local airbase. The Captain informs the team that this mission will be carried out under the cover of darkness and with the utmost urgency due to the fact that the The Phantom Shadow, and her crew, will need an airbase to effectively carry out counter-insurgency missions.

Gameplay Notes:
This mission is designed to give you the option of using stealth or not. It is recommended that you attempt to use stealth though it is not necessary.

If you're finding this mission difficult I've added some hints below:
If you're attempting to use stealth to complete this mission make sure you are using a supressor and that your AIs are set to hold fire. It also is useful to have you AIs follow you in a column formation and leave them in the prone when moving into sketchy areas.

There is a building about 700m south of you starting position, it is a good RP before moving towards the generator building.

You only need to eliminate 5 enemies to gain access to generator room

If you plan on not using stealth make sure you are well equiped for a large battle.


Author's notes:
This Mission uses the map Chernarus (Winter) and can be found listed under said map on the "Create Game" screen for a multilpayer game. The mission can be played with 1-8 players.

This mission was inspired by the release of Operation: TREBUCHET, so a big thanks to their team for creating a wonderful mod and giving me the tools to expand upon a rich universe. If you find something wrong or dislike something please feel free to let me know, I'm actively working to make this and subsequent missions a fun experience for anyone who tries them. *****Update 2024-04-12*****
I've gone in and cleaned up the broken and deprecated OPTRE assets. I've also rerecorded all the dialog audio so the quality and volume is improved. I've played through a few times and everything seems good but feel free to let me know in the comments if you have any issues. It may have been a long time coming but you know what they say, Spartans never die, enjoy!

Hey everyone I know it's been a few years but I've gotten around to updating all the broken OPTRE assets leftover from the split that happened in 2020. I've also rerecorded the audio so hopefully the quality and volume issues there are fixed as well. Let me know if you have any issues!

@Blackdragon I've added two additional options to hopefully address the issue you saw. When the number of enemy units reduced to less than ten you gain access to air support via the radio menu. Radio Alpha will provide a recon scan allowing you to briefly see the postions of remaining enemy units, this option is repeatable. If you're feeling particularily done with the mission Radio Bravo will air strike (or attempt to) all remaining units. Hopefully this addresses the flow of the scenario by not having it turn into a boring game of hide and seek. These additions are in testing at the moment and will be live sometime tomorrow. @Blackdragon I've tried to replicate your issue but I can't. Probably just some guy was hiding really well, which can definiely make the end tedious. If others have had this issue I could try to come up with a timeout trigger or something that sends all remaining enemy units out into the open.
