2024/04/07:
Progress on the update for version 1.5: 60% (Poor, Buggy)
I have updated this Mod, 1.4 to 1.5. BUT, Please be aware of the following points.

Update Details
- The Mod has been updated to be compatible with version 1.5 of the game.
- Some features may not function properly.
- You may experience heavier performance. Improvements are planned for future updates.

2021/08/22 : This mod has been separated into two mods.
I decided to split Facial Animation into two mods because it was becoming difficult to try to add new features.
If you want to use advanced features and better images, please enable the following mod together.

Bug fixes and feature implementations will be done in "Facial Animation - WIP". However,
Changes that affect compatibility, such as adding textures and animations, will be done in "Facial Animation - Experimentals".





This MOD provides the following animations. This MOD is currently WIP.

2021//11/18 :If you want to use this mod with other author's mod that displays hairstyles when using hats
If you want to use a mod that displays hairstyles, and you are having problems seeing hair over your helmet, try using Dubs Apparel Tweaks. In the Hair Visibility section of the mod options, enable the "Alternate hair draw mode" and adjust the hair layer offset.

- Tried to reduce the computational load, by decreasing Mood and Thought references.

2023/11/11
- Exciting Update for Modders Working on Facial Animation Mods! It is called "Hot Reload Texture2D".
I have just rolled out an new feature: now you can reload PNG files on-the-fly during gameplay.
Say goodbye restarting the game client every time you need to fix and repaint your images.

How to Use
1. In Developer Mode, Open the facial Animation UI.
2. Specify the folder containing the target PNGs
(e.g., '~~~Rimworld/Mods/InDevMod/Textures') and click on 'Enable Reload PNG'.
3. After that, edit the images using paint software and save them.
The images (texture data) in the game will automatically be reloaded.

- Added odd eyes. By default, it is generated by 10%. You can change it in mod settings.
- Odd eyes are overridden by eye color genes and prosthetics.

- Added a shader property to HeadTypeDef in order to fix a issue that the face and body color of xenotype species did not match. It is <shaderColorOverride>. If you have not encountered any problems, there is no need to add.

Noticed a small bug with 1.5 where a character that gets void touched hediff gets vanilla eyes hovering in front of the eyes from this mod.

i noticed (in 1.4) some head types have weird eye positions, like this(tried without any retextures too, that eye is a test texture i made for mta ):

Regardless of the settings, the animation seems to only apply to settlers! Me too.

Putting this back on top. If you are having issues with pawns going invisible, go to mod settings and unchecking "Force No-Cache". THis fixed that issue.

All my fluffy xenotypes look like someone shaved their furr off in their face. It just looks wrong. :( hoping for a fix very soon! <3
