DO YOU HATE ELGI? DO YOU WANT TO SHOW THEM EXACTLY WHERE THEY CAN SHOVE THEIR PRETTY LITTLE BOWS? THEN HAVE I GOT A PRODUCT FOR YOU!

Introduction

This project originally started as a result of my desire to keep YamatoSpirit's "Better Guns" up to date. It has since grown to encompass three additional factions, various army/hero abilities, and an entire table has been added to allow fine tuning for everything firepower related, nevermind the fixes to CA's half-baked approach to projectile lifetimes.

Summary

Because this project has gotten so large, it's no longer reasonable to list all of the changes in their entirety in the description, but you can expect the following:
  • Range increases for all gunpowder, flame, and warptech based weapons (1-10% depending on the weapon)
  • Range increases for all bomb-throwing units (Flat bonus of 10m for basic units, 15 for flying units, and 20 for RoRs)
  • Explosion radius increases across the board for all bombs, flames, steam, and warp weapons
  • Better guns - All firearms have increased damage (between 1 flat normal or AP and 15% general increase)
  • Better cannons - All cannons have had their damage and range increased by a set amount. Cannons with an explosive element have been reworked. Flame cannons have been fixed.
  • Grapeshot - Now you can make your very own Skaven Salsa by shoving whatever happens to be on hand into the barrel of your cannons!
  • Better shotguns - All shotguns have tighter spread and more pellets on top of the other changes.
  • Better flamers - Flamers for lizards, dwarfs, and skaven have been reworked for parity. Purge everything with holy promethium!
  • Better gyrocopters - Sick of gyrocopters being entirely useless? Not anymore! Vanilla copters and the flamethrower copters from Glory Mod are now 250% worth maxing out your ranged buildings as dwarfs. There are also rumors of secret upgrades to the Skyhammer to rival the Doomrocket...
  • Better heroes and lords - Heroes and lords all have something special to keep them competetive, be it standoff range, explosive ammunition, or simply the massive damage that comes from having a massive shotgun.
    Unique RoR's - Most Regiments of Renown actually have something that makes them stand out against their regular counterparts. Pay attention to the damage breakdown on the unit cards.
  • More units - The Empire and Dwarfs now have access to several shotgun related options, from State Troops and Ironsiders to Irondrakes with specially modified canister shot drakeguns.
  • Balance BALANCE IS FOR ELGI SCUM! THIS IS THE END TIMES AND BY GRUNGNI IT'S TIME TO USHER IN A NEW AGE!
In all seriousness, I do make an effort to achieve some level of parity between affected factions. Just be mindful that this does make the affected factions' mid and late game ranged options stronger.


Compatibility

Partially save game compatible. Do not remove this mid-campaign, as it adds custom units. WH2 will crash if you do.
All mods that do not modify the projectiles or projectiles_explosion tables (Aside from magic mods)
Any mod that modifies the same values will either overwrite the conflicting values or that mod's values will be overwritten, depending on which mod is first in the load order.

There are now two companion mods to this, one for "fantasy" ranged weapons, one for melee. For the best balance, it is recommended to use them, or the complete overhaul.

With this mod on, upgrading Empire's machinery building to the last stage removes helstorm rocket battery from province's (and global, if it's the only one) recruitment pool.
Either don't use the mod or have another machinery building in another province without last upgrade.

What is the secret with Skyhammer RoR? recruited it but it only drops some better then normal bombs.

The unit pack is really only recommended if you are using at least two parts of Firepower or the complete version. Even then, you may or may not want the extra units.
The skyhammer is the RoR gyrobomber.

Hey, i was wondering do i need some other mods like the Glory mod? And you say the Skyhammer has a secret, is it the RoR one or a unique building i need?
