A bonafide Lucha Libre legend, El Experto has won an endless string of Lucha de Apuestas matches over three decades in the ring. Known for his basic technical skill and take no prisoners attitude, Experto was mostly booed as a rudo for decades, but in recent years has been appreciated as an absolute pillar of the Lucha scene, touring across Mexico for various promotions, but also taking on special attraction matches in the United States, Canada, Japan and across Europe.

Experto fought many matches in the past against Felix Santana Sr, who invited his old rival to Santana Family Wrestling, an offer Experto happily accepted. Soon after, however, Experto's true intentions were revealed as he betrayed the Santanas and Salvador Sosa's Rudo Army, forming his own offshoot group, Rudo EX, reverting to his old manipulative form. Rudo EX had a strong run, winning multiple titles and theatening the very fabric of SFW and later on, the TIPWF when the Santana's promotion was merged into the Texan Federation.

But after long enough, the feud between Experto and Salvador Sosa would come to a head with a Lucha de Apuesta match at Lariats and Legislators July '21, with Sosa putting up the existence of the Rudo Army against Experto's mask, and succeded.

Now, unmasked and revealed to the world after decades, Experto gave his full name as Maximillian Francisco De La Cruz and will compete under his real name for the rest of his career.
