For many years, Victor Van Banning has been an advocate for an effiicient, scientific style of fighting, and even started his own promotion in England, Pinnacle Fighting Systems in his efforts. Along the way, Van Banning signed a decorated former Mi-5 member, Sir Vladimir Henry to become his top star.

While the tall, debonair Henry was able to effortlessly defeat his foes and charm the crowds, Van Banning soon became wary of his burgeoning star. His suspicions were slowly confirmed as he discovered that Henry had designs on taking Pinnace out of his hands, had seemingly charmed Van Banning's girlfriend, Heidi Karnstein and worst of all, was apparently a practicioner of the dark arts, using them to fuel his victories in the ring.

Van Banning and Henry met at a fateful event with both the title and ownership of Pinnacle up for grabs, and Van Banning managed to fight against the odds and managed to banish his foe, albeit in a pyhrric victory. For, as Van Banning managed to win in the ring, he did so by such brutal means that his sponsors deserted shortly after, as did Karnstein, who left at Henry's fallen side.

Van Banning realized that he had been played as a fool, as Vladimir Henry left for Europe, recovering faster than he ever should have. The two would meet time and time again, with the enigmatic Karnstein sometimes seemingly defecting back to her old flame, or betraying him again, and the matches never ceased to showcase a high level of intensity.

Now, Van Banning looks to continue his feud, following Vladimir Henry to the United States, where both meet again in Philadelphia, with the Philadelphia Extreme Wrestling Alliance serving as a suitable forum for their final battle.
