This campaign is more akin to Deeper Dungeons Campaign style. Levels become progressively harder with more elements being introduced but the core itself remains Skirmish-like and main objectives are your opponent Underlord's Core Destruction.

Was just fine as campaign up to level 15 then it slowly became more like skirmish-ish maps.
Still good, but no longer a "campaign" campaign after that.

Level 6 is kind same corrdidor-ish but it gets much better.

Well.. Unfortunately nothing mystical about this one - got bored playing this by level 5 already.
Just same narrow corridor for 5 levels, repeat. Levels time span is literally around you waiting until your gnarlings are level 5 and then you start building bridges between islands to shock troop them.. and then the next one.. then the next one.. until you basically reach Ai's dungeon core.
I can deal with the fact there is no replacement earth or possession, but some levels do not even have bombards to make a rush with them.

I will try Level 6 as it seemed a bit a different but first 5 was whatever but not enjoyable. There is nothing enjoyable in bruteforcing gnarlings in one corridor for 5 levels straight.

You are not supposed to kill every enemy on the map. Your objective are enemy Cores and Inhibitors. You can pit enemy with Empire troops and strike when ready.

There are no cheats involved. It is a custom campaign with custom rules. You may pick lower difficulty if you struggle with specific level at the start of the match.

From level 14 it just become totaly stupid !!!
How can you kill level 7+ units when you do not even have time to mine gold and recruit ???
Level 14 is bugged, you cannot free the vampire, they disapear when you capture the arena.

Big joke !!!

Cheats enabled from start of the level.

It's common issue when AI is on lower difficulty and isn't provided with unlimited resources, like in early levels. From level10 and beyond, it should start performing better as it's difficulty is increased one step above ( from Medium to Hard ) so it does manage it's own dungeon correctly and stops being a dummy. In any case, early levels are meant to be relatively simple, in some cases they may feel a bit too easy.

will try usually just play on normal dificulty, ill bump it up a bit in next lvl! Also the "creatures revolt over time" prob doesnt seem to be particular to your campaign, I come across this issue in many dif maps, specially in longer matches

AI becomes stronger the more you progress. You may also consider playing levels at higher difficulty if you wish, that will provide extra challenge to you.
