[Co-op campaign] Expedicion Libertadora del Peru (Part 4 of 4) - The noble and common

This scenario is the last part of the coop campaign ‚Expedición Libertadora del Perú’. This campaign tells the story of the liberation of Peru, starting in 1820. More specifically the quest of José de San Martín and Bernardo O’Higgins to ignite a war for independence in all of south america.

After José de San Martín took over Lima, the spanish crown is weaker than ever. The Viceroy had to flee to the city of Cusco and the rest of the Spanish army starts to desert under the leadership of José de Canterac and Jerónimo Valdés.
To consolidate his power in Lima, José de San Martín gives his generals a retreat command, which allows the Spanish to reorganize in the highlands, again. In an attempt to rebuild alliances in Lima he misses a chance to catch Canterac off guard and to defeat the spanish army once and for all. This unusual military misstep sows distrust among his closest allies. To make things more complicated, the colombian general Antonio José de Sucre arrives with an highly skilled army at Guayaquil, putting pressure on the sphere of influence of Gouverneur Portocarrero.


IMPORTANT: You can deactivate the coop-mode by deleting the outpost in Guayaquil in the first 30 seconds of the scenario.

Hints:

- You can't build markets, trebuchets and you can't develop chemistry.
- Be careful when scouting the territory of the royalists. They take advantage of a weak frontline.
- You can make everything easier by stockpiling resources instead of progressing through the story.


Notes:
The AIs were downloaded under their original names from the steam workshop.
