Description
Era - 1960s / 1970s - Boxing - Heavyweight

George "Boom Boom" Chuvalo is one of the toughest boxers ever to lace up a pair of gloves, and one of the best fighters to come out of Canada. Iron chinned to a fault, Chuvalo was never knocked down, and while stopped by George Foreman and Joe Frazier, both were technical knockouts while he remained standing. Muhammad Ali would fight Chuvalo twice, and while he mocked his opponent, calling him the "washerwoman" for his wild swinging style in the ring, the Greatest would later deem Chuvalo to be "the toughest guy I ever fought."
