[Broken] Hacker Drone Protection Script

Description
Introduction

This script will detect when a Hacker Drone
initially announces itself in the area and will
shut down all active antennas on the grid this
script is attached to.


Setup

Load this script into a programmable block,
compile it, and run it once. Run again if new
antenna is built.

Then choose an active antenna on your grid and
set its programmable block to the same block
you've loaded the script into. If using multiple
active antennas, you do not need to have all of
them set to the programmable block, but you should
ensure that the antenna attached to the
programmable block is active when other antennas
are active as well.


How it works

When a Hacker Drone appears, it will announce it
has arrived. At this time, it will send a
transmission via antenna that can trigger a
programmable block if it's attached to an antenna.
When your antenna/programmable block detects this
signal from the Hacker Drone, the script will
automatically turn off all detected antennas on
this grid and its sub-grids.


Risks using this script

This script allows the antennas on your grid to
receive broadcasts from Enemy Signals. Because
of this, it's possible that this script could be
used against players in a PvP environment to
disable antennas of opponents.

I make no guarentees that this will work 100%
of the time.

This script is no longer functional. I don't have any intentions to rewrite it.

gives and program [63,10] error ImyRadioAntenna does not contain a definition for 'ignoreotherbroadcast'and no accessible extension method 'ignoreotheBroadcast'accepting a first argument of type 'iMyRadionAntenna'could be found [ are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?] is there someting i done wrong or dus this need to be updated

There is no options for this in the antenna control panel. Please can you explain how this is suppose to work because it just give an error of "Assembly not found. Please compile script."

I've tried having a program block attached to the antena and running the script on both the attached program block and one in another part of the ship.. nothing

I cant get this to copy to programmable block

If it's using beacon and antenna for cleanup, just use a beacon - those cannot be hacked

This mod can't be used on a server that enforces an online beacon/antenna to prevent deletion, which is very common to keep the server from eventually choking from an ever-increasing list of garbage grids that flew off in a crash into infinity. All you need to do on a PvE server is fly a drone around someone's structure, wait for this little guy to spawn, and when the antenna shuts down just wait out the cleanup timer and poof.

It also can't be used if you set your server up to not allow respawns (permanent death). Logoff in a cryochamber... oxygen tanks wonk out, and boom. Player death.

*All Hail Lucas* ....... But... Hacker drone is still really annoying.... so...
Made this... It wont disable the hacker drones... just mades its extreamly less likey to have them spawn over this one..

I know it would be easy. The whole point of Corruption is not to make things easy. No further changes will be made to this script

Going to have to agree with aurigasixty if the script doesn't turn the antennas back on when the drone leaves its a major inconvenience to the player. It should not be very difficult to do this and it would make the script a bit more friendly

No plans to make any changes to this script. As far as disabling the drone, I won't be adding that functionality to Corruption, but a newer project I've been working on has a feature that will allow blacklisting of any spawngroup from any mod. No ETA for when that'll be ready though,
