Due to false-flags for anti-cheat, it is recommended to disable anti-cheat when hosting a server with this mod. You can try enabling some anti-cheats, but your mileage may vary.

Information:
This mod adds a great deal more variety to the traits available to players during character creation.

This includes, but not limited to: traits that add some starting equipment, traits that increase your starting level in specific skills but don't give exp multiplier, a bunch of unique traits with interesting effects (examples: better weapons proficiencies, better exp gains for specific playstyle, zombie infection immunity with cure period, scavenging perks, driving perks, and so on). Of course, your typical +1/2 in some skills perks are also present.

The mod also attempts to add a greater variety of expense, as in there are more -1, -2, -3, -5 traits. This should help prevent the annoying feeling of having one solitary point left with nothing to spend it on.

Dynamic Traits submod is present - you can earn/lose traits by leveling skills, list of all available perks can be found here[docs.google.com]. Note, that almost everything is configurable through sandbox settings (120 Sandbox options). Want to make only specific perks dynamic? I got you covered,choose which perks you want 1by1. Want to change Skill level requirement to make it easier or harder? No problem, do that. Out of 90+ or so available perks, 50+ can be made dynamic. Some additional info can be found here

Known Issues
  • Made of Glass trait sometimes hurts players while sleeping. (Haven't experienced this in a while. Might be fixed?)
  • Killing players in Multiplayer with Martial Artist does not sync their death to the server.
  • Evasive Insta-Death is usually caused by Instant Infection Mortality. Fix is not expected, as we got no clue why this is happening.

Mod Compatibility:
  • Evolving Traits World (ETW) - ETW submod marks which traits are dynamic, also makes Butterfingers dynamic.
  • Dynamic Traits - The mod will opt to use their Alcoholic trait over its own.
  • The Only Cure - The Amputation is now officially supported, and the mod will opt to use their amputation method instead of its own.
  • Mod Options - Allows for Client-Side settings to be adjusted. Install if you would like extra options.
  • Moodle Framework - Adds in support for Alcoholic as a moodle.
  • Driving skill - some traits will be auto-disabled to avoid conflicts
  • Scavenging skill (fixed) - some traits will give exp boost in scavenging if mod is present. Scrounger perk is disabled if mod is present, it does same thing as Skill. Original works too.

Taking the bite trait causes you to spawn in freshly bitten every time you load up, including damaging the clothing.

Is there any way to add an image of the progress before changing the perk, or a description right in the game? An example of the mundane perk and to some extent the damage inflicted and remaining before updating this perk is indicated in the tab. Or a pack mouse, when hovering over the icon, will write when it appears, as it is done in the modification "More Description for Traits"

I have problem with few traits
Underweight broken leg and super underweight when its been a while in the game 8 days my leg didint heal even after longer time it didnt heal and with underweight i have diffrent problem when im reaching the weigh 64 and after 65 the trait goes away my character somehow is reseting its weight a ate 3 stick of butter and it didnt change anything please someone help:(

I'm trying to take alcoholic on my save but can't seem to find it. Even with no traits chosen, I don't see it anywhere on the negative traits list. Any idea on why that is happening?

Hey there! There's a trait called "Fast" that can be earned in Dynamic, there's no documentation about it in the spreadsheet, it can't be added by the Stats window in admin mode, and once earned, it does not appear on a player's traits list (seems to lack an icon, and no tooltip). Server throws error IsoGameCharacter$XP.load> unknown trait "fast" sometimes when interacting with vehicles and other objects, inconsistently and seemingly at random. The default requirement for getting the trait is a sum of 30 in Sprinting, Lightfooted, Nimble, and Sneaking.

Just wanted to let you guys know that an incomplete or removed feature was left in the mod's code that seems to be interacting weirdly. Hope this helps.

To people having issues with Super Immune, don't take it with Burn Ward Patient or Broken leg. I think that's the cause of the sickness returning bug. Hope this helps!

Super Immune is broken, its been 4 months now and sickness keeps bouncing back up, when i thought it was over finally... no thanks, gonna remove it manually with debug. Not taking that trait again. Was probably nice while it worked correctly

What if you could overcome the fear of fire...
It would be so cool if I just panic a lot and step by step I'd be able to overcome the trauma…
I also have the weed mod to calm down 😛
I have never made it to the Winter Season, but this is time is going to be different, i feel it (ahahaahahah)
