Operation Weserübung is in full swing and the Germans are advancning rapidly into Norway.
The strategic advantage this power plant gives makes it an important target for both axis and allied forces. Who controls it is securing a strategic vantage point as well as gaining access to the power grid connected to the Norweigan town of Namsos and surrounding area. Furthermore, Namsos' ice free harbour is an important asset for both sides as it would drastically shorten the chain of supply and provide a base of further operations.
