Sin Cara

After much fanfare, WWE debuted a new masked wrestler, Sin Cara, in 2011. Sin Cara was believed to be the heir apparent to Rey Mysterio in many ways, but the original wrestler behind the mask did not live up to the organization's lofty expectations.

Five months after the character debuted, a second version of Sin Cara appeared, challenging the original Sin Cara. The original Sin Cara won the feud and unmasked Hunico. Hunico wrestled mostly as an enhancement talent throughouot 2012 and 2013.

When the original Sin Cara left WWE (after an injury in summer 2013), Hunico once again became Sin Cara. The new Sin Cara began teaming with the young Kalisto as The Lucha Dragons on NXT and later on the main roster. The team would later slpit after the WWE Draft, making each a singles competitor again.
