A professional kickboxer by trade,Kevin Rosier was invited to the first UFC touranment. Having focused on underground fights, his school and eating too much McDonalds, Rosier was not in prime fighting shape when UFC 1 came around. His appearence, however was deceptive, and while his plodding style seemed to be little threat, his toughness and power led Rosier to victory over Zane Frazier in a back and forth contest. His next fight against Gerard Gordeau did not go as well, and Rosier was eliminated by the Savate expert.

Rosier would continue fighting in MMA, losing by submission at UFC 4, and fighting Dan "The Beast" Severn in several fights. He also would fight an up and coming Nikolai Valuev in a boxing match.
