1967 Endurance (Proto/Sports/GT)

Description
Based on the original ISI/Studio397 1967 Howston G4, modified by woochoo & mantasisg.
Inspired by a classic 1967 endurance race in France.
Now Includes some 1966 cars.

Includes 29 unique sets of physics, aimed at capturing the vibe of cars they may or may not resemble, and able to provide the variety of multi-class racing on a grand French circuit.

Mantasisg has worked hard to produce a more representative physics set for each car type. v2.0 now includes the different wheelbase/track, some updated suspensions, some improved engines, and some more representative inertial characteristics of the different car classes. GT cars in particular will feel much improved.

The body meshes have also been updated to better represent the cars, with better results due to the more accurate wheelbase and track of each car. The body meshes are styling-cue bodies, rather than replica bodies. A central cockpit mirror has been added, and the wing mirror types are customised or removed to better visually represent each car. Custom steering wheel textures are also included where appropriate.

Now also includes a cockpit light to indicate the wing position of cars 7 & 8, the two cars with giant movable rear wings (see forum link below for details on setting that up with a button)

This is one of my favourite mods, the art style is unique but not that far of the car, and you can still recognise a lot of the real cars in the cars you made, i hope you gonna give us more cars, as we need more of this type of racing on RF2!

Thanks. However, even if I select the 2.0L engine, the car is classified Pr1.6/2.0+

@SpotCash That additional class is for Prosch cars with 2.2L engines. They are selectable for player via upgrade option.

Huge thanks for the update! However, there is a change with the Pr1.6/2.0 class:
Before the update, there was only one Pr1.6/2.0 class.
After the update, there are 2 Pr1.6/2.0 classes:
- Pr1.6/2.0: Maitre 360M
- Pr1.6/2.0+: Proch 100-CS and 70CL

Is it on purpose?

These cars look great and sound great but why are they so damn oversteery ? If they are based off the Howston I don't get it because the Howston doesn't suffer from just a light flick of the wheel and the car spins out. It's controlable.. Maybe it's just an issue with the default set ups ?

Thanks Druid, will look into the issue. A good chance the problem will be a mystery if it has been caused by a game update, but it will get fixed if it's easy/obvious. Happy that otherwise you're enjoying it of course :)

this is my all time favourite mod - however since the 1st Quarter 2023 update, it seems there is an issue where at least one third to one half of the field retire at the time of the first pitstop in a race. From looking at replays it seems cars aren't taking on fuel at the pitstop; they crawl into T1 (Le Grand Circuit) and retire. I've had similar results at the 1000k Brianza

the models are a bit generic, so they're not really worth of the names. And then there are the legal issues which i don't want to get near, even if they're unlikely to be a problem
