Description
For Mac/Linux Users: We've been informed that you may be experiencing performances issues after the last update. But without the support of a proper development tool on MacOS/Linux we can't tackle it down. Sorry for the inconvenience.

WOTC - Extended Information!

After a lot of work, we are happy to bring you a WOTC enhanced and rewritten version of Perfect Information!

So, the aim of this mod is to provide you with the maximum details and information about what's happening on the battlefield.

FEATURES

General
  • Aim Assist display everywhere
  • Show Miss Chance instead of Hit Chance everywhere
Flyovers
  • Display Hit/Crit/Dodge Chances in Damages Flyovers during Battle (works with all types of direct damages)
  • HitChance is now displayed in Flyovers for non-damaging Abilities like Mind Control, Mind Spin and Mind Scorch!
ShotBar
  • Display Shotbar in ShotHUD
ShotHUD
  • Display Graze Chances and Crit Damage
  • Preview Minimum Damage in Battle when aiming at an enemy
  • Preview Hacking in ShotHUD when aiming at Haywire-able Enemy, or Hackable Objective/Item
ShotWings
  • Crit Damages Details in Right Wing and Damages Bonus Details in Left Wing
Tooltips
  • Reworked Soldier Info Stats List Tooltip shows when hovering mouse over Soldier Name
  • Reworked Soldier Buffs / Debuffs Tooltip shows when hovering mouse over Soldier Buff/Debuff
  • New Enemy Stats / Abilities / Buffs / Debuffs Tooltip shows when hovering mouse over enemy HUD Icon (little Heads over tactical HUD when enemy is in line of sight)
  • Reworked Weapon Tooltip shows when hovering mouse over Weapon Icon
  • Reworked Ability Tooltip shows when hovering mouse over Ability Icon
Mod Config Menu compatible
  • Allows other mods to be configurable through the in game options menu (MCM)

LOCALIZATION

We also added localization integration, so you can translate the little damage Strings into your language.

  • Cinematic Rapid Fire, which gives Rapid Fire and Chain Shot their cinematic camera back which was removed in the patch ages ago. Also gives the Reaper Banish ability the same improved look.
  • Shaken Scars are Back! The name says it all, but to those who weren't around for the first couple of months of XCom2, a feature was bugged out in a patch and never fixed, which randomly scarred shaken soldiers. This now means some, but not all, gravely wounded soldiers, not the "new" WotC shaken fatigue status.
  • Trainable Sparks (and other Buffs) WotC was one step forward, two steps back for SPARKs. As well as allowing training, also gives them access to breakthroughs for their weapons, an ammo pocket (ammunition only utility slot), and some hack progression.
  • Train from Armoury allows normal soldiers to jump straight to training from the armoury, just as faction soldiers can. The Training Center is still required to be built first of course!
  • Ability Interaction Fixes, which fixes up "Death from Above" and "Serial" not proccing from second shot kills of "Chain Fire"/"Rapid Fire" and some other ability interaction issues.
  • Original High Hit Dodge Behaviour, which restores the pre-patch behaviour where Hit chance over 100 gradually eliminated dodge chance, not immediately made dodges impossible once Hit chance is 100 or more.

When I just have this mod installed and run the game after having cleared the config files the following is added to the XComModOptions.ini in my games folder:

[Engine.XComModOptions]
ActiveMods=WOTC_DisplayHitChance

Is this what Extended Information is actually called in the ini file? WOTC_DisplayHitChance? Because I am not subscribed to any mods called that.

Sorry for the spam, I just want to give as much information as possible in hopes you can maybe see what is wrong and provide some tips for me.

Also deleted all the config files from the xcom2 directories in my documents folder. I can make other mods work, just not this one. So annoying because I really like how the information this mod gives and how it is displayed.

@Mr. Nice I read what you said about disabling "show aim assist" in options, just wanted try that and see if it makes a difference. However I don't have "show aim assist" in the games options.. why don't I have that option?

Can't make this work. The launcher shows no conflicts and the mod is shown as enabled. I have tried both with AML launcher, with the regular xcom2 launcher, tried only having this mod installed. It just doesn't work :( I dont know that to do.

can anyone help me, there is no dmg, hit chance, move etc values on top of my enemies.

Sorry that message wasn't very clear, I do have partial functionality like the shot bar and flyovers but no icons above the health bars. I don't think there is any conflicts and currently this is the only mod I have installed, I feel like I'm missing something obvious here but I have no Idea

MrJellybeanz: it should just work, have you checked if you have conflicts on any of the overrides? Although if that's the reason you should get partial functionality probably...
