Difficulty

As in previous Wolfenstein games difficulty achievements stack so you can play on highest difficulty and get them all in one go although I don't recommend that. Play on any difficulty you like.


Perks

As in previous games your progres thoward a perk stays over when you load a game. So if you stealth kill an enemy reload and stealth kill him it will count as 2 stealth killed enemies.
So if you find a good spot to farm some perks use this method to get them for bonuses and thoward Max all perks achievement.

To get all collectibles you have to visit each mission at least twice.
Play through the main mission and about half way in the game you will get access to enigma machine that will allow you to replay missions in search of Uber Commanders. This will unlock new areas with more collectibles.

Visit every District

After you finish the game you have to kill every available ubercommander.
This will unlock new district - Riverside, Neu York.
Basically you have to revisit every district.
Complete Package




Acquire all Contraptions and Contraption upgrades

You will get one of 3 contraptions for free as a story progression, rest can be obtained by playing certain missions (videos coming soon).
Each contraption gives you certain passive bonuses and to upgrade them you have to compleat specific side quests.

To upgrade a contraption you have to complete related side quest.
Battle Walker - stilts that allow you to reach higher ground


Upgrade - Stamina - Keep overcharged health until you take damage.

Constrictor Harness - Allow you to access narrow spaces but will damage you if you stay there to long.


Upgrade - Iron Lung - Increases the duration you’re able to remain constricted.

Ram Shackles - You can smash through some breakable objects


Ram Shackles upgrade - Mechanic - Regenerating Armor

Crippled but Able




Perform a takedown while in the wheelchair

You can get it at the start of the game just after you pass lightning trap.
It's very easy to get but you must move quickly. If you fail just reload last save.

Déjà Vu




Make the choice
Story related and can't be missed.

Choise matters.
Saveing Fergus will give you Laserkraftwerk later in the game.
Saveing Wyatt gets you Dieselkraftwerk, a kind of a granade launcher.
Do or die!




Beat the game on "Do or die!" difficulty or higher
Enemy Within

Achieve the second best time in the Killhouse

Finish a District without triggering an alarm

Much easier later in the game when you have access to enigma machine.
Manhattan Penthouse is quite easy as there are just few enemies and the level is small.

Throw a hatchet and kill an enemy from 30m

It's best to have at least 2 axes for this.
Find an enemy who is far away from you.
Try to hit him with first axe but if you miss don't move a muscle.
He will most likely go to investigate the noise and when he stops throw another axe.

Hard Headed




Collect 1000 helmets

You should get this through the course of the game. If you don't you will have to farm them by replaying your favorite chapter.
I am death incarnate!




Beat the game on "I am death incarnate!" difficulty or higher
I'm Machine Enough (secret achievement)




Beat the Panzerhund ride without killing anyone on "Bring 'em On!" difficulty or higher

You will have a chance to ride Panzerhund in New Orleans Bienville Street level.
This achievement has very misleading description. You simply can't kill anyone while riding Panzerhund.
I left it at the start and went on foot. I killed anyone I could while searching for collectibles.
Achievement popped up when I jumped down in to the sewers where commander is.

Wait for the game to resume after the credits

For me this was by far the hardest achievement to get.
What they did to all time classic "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister is beyond insulting.
It calls for a lightning strike to the head of a person who thought this was good idea.
Fortunetly I was able to mute it.
Kick It (secret achievement)




Kill Hitler during the Aerostat Audition

Very easy but missable.

Make a Point




Achieve the highest score in the Shooting Range

You have to beat high score on shooting range.
Just shoot at targets and you should be able to get it with no problems.

Max a Perk




Max a Perk

Very easy to get.
As in previous games your progres thoward a perk stays over when you load a game. So if you stealth kill an enemy reload and stealth kill him it will count as 2 stealth killed enemies.
You can max out this perk just at the start of the game. See my Crippled but Able video. You can get 3-4 stealth kills in that area. Reload and repeat.

So from what I gathered to get this you have to finish the game on highest difficulty, without any saves and checkpoints. Yes, in one sitting.
If you die you start from scratch.
Ow, and you can't skip cutscenes.
Given how broken this game is and how often it crashes i wish you good luck with it.
I will never buy Machine Games game ever again.

Very easy to get just after you find Constrictor Harness in Nuclear Bunker (if you haven't picked it up as your first contraction).
This spot is great to farm kills for perk. Just quick save right before you kill Ubercommander.

Destroy a Zerstörer with an Übergewehr

Zerstörers are those big robots at you fight at the end of the game on board of Ausmerzer.
It's a tricky fight but quite easy.
Übergewehr can be found just outside this arena so be sure to pick it up.
As soon as you enter head right to the small platform.
Drop Übergewehr and grab mounted Laserkraftwerk. It's great for killing everything.
Remember to reload it between waves.
When Zerstörers show up weaken them with laser then pick up Übergewehr.
To make it easier hide below the platform.
If you'r low on armor pick it up from below the platform, health is under the platform on opposite side of the arena.

I have a question regarding the Hardheaded achievement (collecting 1000 helmets) - do only helmets in the main game count or do the ones I pick up in the DLC levels and Challenges count as well?

To be honest I don't remember. I think you can go back and look for missed collectibles while looking for commanders. But you play all levels backwards in that mode. Grtting them as you play the story saves you time.

Is it realistic to collect all the collectibles after completing the storyline? There are no items in the game that are only in the storyline?
