Introduction

Hi there.

This guide is made in a form of a roadmap to make it easier for you.
I'm skipping all super easy achievements like Behind Closed Doors. If you can't get it by yourself then achievements are not for you.

You will need 3 playthroughs of the main game.

First playthrough (easy difficulty)

I recommend to play on easy. In this playthrough you will get most of the achievements as well as all collectibles: files, video tapes, Mr. Everywhere Statues and Antique Coins.
Skip no medkids and no item box achievements, you'll get those during speedrun.
When faced with a choice who to cure pick Zoe to get bad ending. This will result in bonus boss fight with Mia.

Second playthrough (speedrun, no medkids and no item box)

Also play this on easy and this time cure Mia. You will have one boss fight out of the way.
In this playthrough you should also aim for Resource Manager and Walk it Off achievements.
Speedrun is actualy very easy. I was able to finish the game in under 3h during my first atempt.

VERY IMPORTANT
To get Resource Manager you can't use box at all. Game forces you to use it twice and you will have to use it for the third time before entering last section of the game.

After finishing game in 4h you will get Circular Saw. It;s an amazeing melee weapon with very strong aimed attack and it dose not requier ammo. It makes Madhouse difficulty much more easier.

Third playthrough (Madhouse difficulty)

Not so hard with Circular Saw. Just cut your way through enemies. It works great with most bosses as well.
Here you will also have to collect Antique Coins. There are 18 of those in lower difficulties but 33 on Madhouse and they are in different locations.

Easy/Normal difficulty

All Treasures Locations

There are 3 treasures in RE 7.
To get them you will need to find 3 photos pointing out the location.
I'm sure you will run in to those. Most important is the first one as it gives you steroids that upgrade your health. Second treasure gives you Magnum ammo and third one gives weapon repair kit.

All Antique Coins on Professional Difficulty

Mama Molded Boss Fight

This is a mini boss you encounter at the start of the game and you fight with it later. It's not that hard. Shooting it with special pistol ammo stuns it and makes it vulnerable to other attacks. Grenades are also great for stunning it and cleaning facehuggers.

Lucas Boss Fight on Normal Difficulty

Pretty straight forward fight.
As soon as you enter the room run around and gather all the ammo you can before the cutscene.
This boss is quite easy, just stay away from him and shoot red area on his body.
When you stun him get in close and use shotgun to max out damage.

You're the Hero Now

Complete Not a Hero on Professional difficulty.

Proffesional difficulty gets unlocked after you finish Not a Hero at least once.
Main difference is that you start with no guns. All you have to defend yourself in a knife few granades and your fists.

There's also a lot more enemies and some of them spawn in places previously safe. Some areas have different enemy setups than before.

You will get your guns later in the game so before that you have to do with what you have.
I highly recommend finishing this DLC on Easy in under an hour to get Easy Deflect. It will help you a lot here and I was able to finish easy playthrough in little over 40 minutes.

White enemies can not be killed by deflecting and punching them but you can stun them and run past them.

Lucas Boss Fight on Professional Difficulty

Much longer fight than on normal.
I recommend that you use Easy Deflect (finish Not a Hero in under 1h on any difficulty) and Thor's Hammer Sight C (cost 6 Antique Coins) for this fight.
As before gather all supllies as soon as you enter.
First phase is exactly the same, you can use counter to stun him briefly and get some free shots at him.
In second phase he will spit acid from time to time.
This attack is easy to avoid and when he's done he will be stunned for few seconds so use this to get some extra damage.
Make every shot count as it takes a lot more to kill him this time.

All Boxer and Chapion Effigys

The Only Guns You Need

You can't use spears or bombs but power fist is ok and that's the only way to kill aligators. You get power fist by frinishing game on any difficulty.

Fastest Man in the Swamp

You only need to complete one challenge to get this.
I got it unlocked just by playing and I wasn't even trying.

Queensberry Rules

Very easy, you can get this just at the start of the game by trying combos on punching bag outside of Joes house.

Swamp Warfare

Very easy and will come naturally as you play the game.

King of the Swamp

On Joe Must Die difficulty there are a lot more enemies and in a different setup. You will find enemies in place previously safe. They also hit a lot harder and are harder to kill. Ther are also traps all over the swamp that will surprise you if you're not careful.

Another change is in save points. Now you need cassete tapes to save your game. But you will find plenty of cassettes so don't worry too much about it.

This difficulty is not that hard. Just move slowly and look for the traps then if possible use them against enemies. You can detonate those traps with your power fist and when done correctly from a distance you won't even get hit so practice this, it will come in handy.

Try to save as mauch ammo as you can, especially spears. Final boss fight has 3 phases this time and those spears will be great to deal damage during the third phase.
