A small ship designed to emulate the look and feel of the ships from the R.E.A.R.M. mod for the classic game HomeWorld 2.

1 Mod- Shield Generators
Survival ready- loaded with Ice, Uranium & Ammo.
Full conveyor system
Oxygen & Hydrogen systems
Hydrogen & Ion thrusters- space only, will not work in gravity
6 Gatling Guns
Cargo storage and Connector for refuelling and rearming

Features:

Fighter Cockpit for better visability
Concealed thrusters- most thrusters are inside the ship, block damage is turned ON- adequate space is allowed to prevent thrusters damaging near-by blocks.
Light Armour for better speed and maneuverability

Uses one mod:

Since Gatling guns now seem to shred through Heavy Armour like it's tin foil, I decided to switch to Light Armour and added 1 Mod to the ship; Shield Generators by Cython:

There are two large generators inside the Interceptor that provide 20,000 Shield Energy Points- not a huge amount, but enough to protect the ship during dog fights and attack runs; it also recharges quite rapidly so multiple attacks can be made in one 'mission'.

You will need to subscribe to this mod and have it active in the world settings before pasting the ship into your world or trying to weld the blueprint from a projection.

Summary:

Besides using a single mod and switching to Light Armour, the Interceptor now uses a Fighter Cockpit for a better flight experience, and the Connector is now on the rear for a cleaner look and easier docking.
