Having worked for CMLL, AAA, WCW, TNA, NJPW and the WWF, one could say Héctor Garza did it all . He started in 1992 working as one of CMLL's top técnicos, before jumping to AAA and WWF. By 2005 he returned to CMLL where he teamed with Perro Aguayo, Jr. against Los Capos and helped establish Los Perros del Mal along with members of La Furia del Norte, Los Pierroths and La Familia de Tijuana. In 2011 Garza defeated Último Guerrero to win the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship for the first time. He would vacate that title, however, when he joined Perro Aguyao Jr.'s Perros del Mal Producciones. In 2012 he won the Mexican National Heavyweight Championship in a 6-way elimination match. At Triplemanía XX a missed chair shot by Garza would cost El Hijo del Perro Aguayo the AAA Mega Championship. Los Perros would turn on him and kick him out of the group. Sadly, Garza would succumb to cancer in 2013. On August 9, 2015, at Triplemanía XXIII, Garza was inducted into the AAA Hall of Fame. As a result of his death, the "Comisión de Box y Lucha Libre Mexico D.F." deemed his Mexican National Heavyweight Championship inactive, as he passed away while still champion.
