I don't know what went wrong at your end, but usually steam workshop works like a charm for AoeII HD... However, bear in mind that this edition of Age of Empires II is no longer supported, so you should turn your attention to the new Age of Empires II Definitive Edition (in my opinion).
Ps. This mod has been developed by Bassefrom, and I have simply fixed a few bugs.
2nd: "Subscribe to download", I subscribed, no download to be found.... WTF??? No description, no guide, no link.... just nerdy descriptions and unhelpful comments. My interest in this mod is completely lost now. Won't search for it again. Thanks!
Oh and why should I subscribe to this if I don't get a download like promised? Subscribtion cancelled! Nice try!
It should work in the definitive edition, as the file format hasn't changed. :)
Unfortunately, no updates are neither released nor planned.
maybe about "balancing" some stuff i do play a version of the awakening where every fifth games or so the preys can't buy any upgrades tho like u buy the upgrade for gold but it does not change any stats even tho the "wall" upgrades just heal those walls but do not upgrade the max hp of them or anything like that so if 2 experienced player play this mod against each other the zombie still wins in later because he nearly 1 shot normal walls.. seems a "bit" unbalanced" lately
