You might have solved your problem already, but replied to your issue about Serpentis Temple. Opening the door at top of the stairs is already part of the puzzle/trap/adventure. You must find a way to climb the walls and reach the hole on top of the door. The room inmediately after it, will also require you to find 2 secret/hidden rooms to reach 2 different levers to further progress.

Also, mind you, you cannot beat the map solo. Some of the puzzles require up to 6 people playing together to be solved, because of their mechanics.
