Okay, one of my favorite things about this game are the graphics and how smoothly the game runs even on a low-budget PC(2020), the game works just fine in 4K 60FPS, at 60%-70% render scale, Medium-High settings, the style of the graphics in this game suits so well the plot of the story, and what the game is about.

Sound, this game is one of the best games when it comes to sound, the soundtrack is just perfect for the type of game-play and art of the game, the slashing of the sword and steps, bullets, voices and monsters, are just amazing. The quality of the music and the choice, is more elaborate than any game I've ever played, with very edgy and diverse OST and high quality sound effects and voiceovers.

Cutscenes, the quality of the cutscenes are at the level of a game like Final Fantasy XV, and it includes cool moves and finishers, ultra detailed and very smooth animations.

Facial Features, again, the facial features of all the characters in the game express the right emotions and feelings that needed to be delivered by the character to the player, and the environment around them.

Bugs, okay now the bugs and crashes department, I played this game's whole story nearly one-tap in the progress of 2 days, and didn't experience any crashes or bugs not whatsoever, so in conclusion I can say that the game is pretty well made in terms of coding and testing.

Controls, the controls are decent, but you can clearly see that the game is meant to be played with a controller, being easier to do combos, and dodge the enemies. A lot of combos for each three characters which are pretty complicated and fun to try.

First time when I was exposed to the DMC universe was through the game DmC: Devil May Cry, that I played on my old laptop(on another account). The humor of the game in general, the plot of the story, and the story itself got me so connected with the characters, especially with Dante, Vergil and Eva that made me adore this game and play all the previous games, nearly finish them one tap as well.

So when I heard about Devil May Cry 5 at E3 2018, after 5 years of waiting, I got hyped so fast, and unexpected. Also being that connected to the game through some personal stuff with which I related, made me wear my heart on my sleeve and made me love this game truly. The ending of the Devil May Cry 5 got me so intrigued, and also its mystery and cliffhanger reveals that also there might be a next Devil May Cry.

So in conclusion the game deserves its place in my heart, and never disappoints my expectations, usually exceeding them, because of the reasons above.

Story

I am going to start by saying, Hideo Kojima is a genius, the vibes and the way the story is presented in this game is the most unusual of all games I've ever touched, you will experience confusion in a lot of instances, but also remain intrigued and interested in what is going to happen. Norman Reedus(Sam Porter Bridges), the protagonist of the whole game, it's also the character with which you play, not only that the graphics of the game are realistic, but the game also uses actors from real life in the game, which enhances everything you will experience in this game, the voice acting is perfect, no trace of unperfection whatsoever. The story is set in a apocalyptic United States, where a nearly extinction event happened, namely, the "Death Stranding", and this event caused the BT's(Beached Things), some dangerous invisibe creatures which are only seen by those that suffer of DOOMS, BT's also cause voidouts, which are a big explosion the size of a crater because they consume the dead by necrosis and produce the rain known as "Timefall", which is not only acidic, but everything that gets touched by it, ages extremely fast. Sam, is just a porter, he does deliveries for everyone all across the United States, and he helps Bridges because of his own reasons, not for the country at all, but in his journey, he has to connect the country through the chiral network, through many obstacles he fights and he somehow still succeeds, all of this for her sister, Amelie, and for his mom, Bridget Strand, but at a later time in the game near the end, we find out that Amelie and Bridget are the same person, and they always been, and it's been all a lie . The ending of Death Stranding, it may be really confusing at first, in my own experience I liked it a lot, even if I got confused through the entirety of the game.

Game-play

Let's talk about the fun part of the game, which is the game-play, a lot of people may disagree with me, and yes Hideo Kojima wasn't kidding when he said this is a walking simulator, still, may be the most realistic walking simulator game, I've ever seen, so that's something to think about, I think. With all that in mind, I find the game pretty fun, it's not that intense fun that we all know, like a FPS game, or like any action game in our day to day life, but it's very, very unique, and it contains a lot of variables and moving parts, which I find amazing, after every mission you get rewarded with loot, or points/xp, it's for sure not a game which will be liked by the people that don't like grinding in games, this is for sure a hard grinding game. With that all said, in my opinion the most fun part of the game is the multiplayer interaction between the players, the game isn't really a full on board multiplayer game, but it has some features on which you can share stuff from your game with other players in their game, in the same world, that to me it's amazing, interesting and very unique, and as reward for doing these multiplayer buildings or assets to help other players, you automatically receive a reward for that, and that reward is a number of likes, and so that's also a thing which you can farm in this game and it can be fun for some people.

Sound

Let's talk about the music first, the music in this game is impeccable, it fits perfectly with the style of the game and the game-play, there is absolutely no doubt, I want to thank Low Roar, for this amazing music, and for the production team at Kojima Productions for the choice they made, ok, now let's talk about the sound effects and other environmental sounds, all the sounds represented in this game are to the dot, perfectly made, extremely out of the norm realistic, the most realistic sounds i've ever heard in my life.

Graphics and Optimization

Let's talk about the big boy, graphics, the Decima engine is incredible, best realistic graphics out there in a working game, which is also practical, the artificial intelligence of this engine is nothing to laugh at, it's pure straight insanity and max of what the technology can do in our times, the physics aren't that great, they are still decent considering that you can't really have both, graphics and realistic physics, the physics does its job. The lighting in this game is pure, it looks extremely close to real life, even without ray tracing, the game is also playable at various ultra-wide resolution and 4k, which looks absolutely amazing and realistic. Now, let's talk about the optimization which is pretty shocking, for what the game presents with its graphics you would think you need a absolute beast of a machine, meanwhile that's kind of yes, it's a no at the same time, I have a low budget machine for 2021, with a i5, GTX 1050Ti and 32GB of ram, the game runs on default normal graphics and a ultra wide resolution of 2560x1080, on average 30-50FPS, sometimes it hits 60 in some of the beaches Sam visits, which is incredible for how the game looks, and also considering it's a console game, and the game is more based on story rather than game-play, 30FPS should be just fine for anyone.

Conclusion

Should you buy this game? YES, it deserves its full price for sure, there is no lacking in this game, there is bunch and bunch of content and thing to do in the game, you can probably get around 300-400 hours of this game and still experience content, and also the game gets updated from time to time, but I got to say it, this game is not for everyone, not at all, the majority of people will not enjoy and find fun in this game for a long period of time, and I can understand that, so, if you enjoy movies and stories, I can 100% recommend buying this game, if you enjoy game-play more rather than story, than it's a discussion that you need to have with yourself, my experience was great, and I will continue playing the game more even after I complete the story, but not everybody may do that, which is fine, with all that said:
