Back when I was 16 in 1994 there was this dude we called Roadhouse. He talked to no one at the gym. Lifted in boots, jeans, and wife beater. He’d bench 225 like 30 times to warmup. Then 315 for 15 to 20. Then 405 to failure. When he’d get stuck he lowered it down to his stomach, sit-up and curl it back onto the bench. When he got into the 500 range some bigger guys would watch to see if he needed help. Between sets he punch the punch bag and it would hit the ceiling. Total monster. Years later I found out he killed a few people. This dude reminds of that guy.
