"From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I claimed the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the blessed machine. Your kind cling to your flesh as if it will not decay and fail you. One day the cooled biomass that you called a temple will wither and you'll beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved. For the machine is immortal. Even in death i serve the Omnissiah."

You will hit a brick wall.

You will have the time of your life up until you hit it, but the wall is always there waiting for you.

From your perspective it might seem the other way around, that it hit you, but you most certainly did this to yourself.

The game is great, you think you are going to stick it for the long haul, think it might be worth the investment to add a little more spice to your already grand experience of building whatever you want and crashing your toys together with other players. Props to you for playing it smart and waiting for a sale to buy a vehicle pack.

You will stare at your victory screen, watch your experience bar go up fractions of an inch, ready to rush into another battle just barely top off that diamond, level up that faction, and...then what? Unlock a few more parts? Unlock that mode that has that one resource so you can craft that one weapon that's made up of several other weapons you just spent all that time playing for?

Except...you didn't, you bought those weapons on sale, with real money, a whole virtual truck with rare weapons for only thirty dollars and two clicks, and now its all craft trash for the next toy that you are certain will keep you on a high forever.

Oh wait, I could just buy the weapon I wanted to craft on the market! I'm only short a few coins of premium currency that I got with that truck I bought, what's a few dollars for such powerful toy?

Then you hit the wall, that no amount of actually playing the game will match the quality-of-life of dumping money on any problem could, and any joy you get out of it now was nothing but an expensive addiction of buying toys to play with.

Do not let youtube videos or advertisements seduce you into playing this game, you will grind to seek an ideal state of playing this game that exists only as a fairy tale that Gaijin wants to sell you but never let you reach without a gaping wallet to show for it.

I got my mileage out of it but dropped the game like a bad habit once I stopped and realized that the goals of my grinding were never gonna happen. Cheers to the good times you gave me and woe to those that want to try you, Warthunder.

Abandon all hope ye who enter here.
