TOP FUN THINGS TO DO:
⭐️ Trying to survive, jumping from planet to planet.
⭐️ Collecting resources and spending them wisely.

THE UNIQUES:
💎 RNG but with space mechanics.

PLAYER GAMING REQUIREMENTS:
💼 RNG.
💼 Space.
💼 Adventure.

PROS:
+ Jumping from planet to planet without knowing the risks, I quite enjoy that concept and kept me engaged for a little while.

+ It's got a good replay value since every new game has a different outcome, given, you'll eventually run out of those options if you played it enough times.

CONS:
- You have no control on outcomes, literally none, it's all luck based no matter on your skill, this wouldn't bother me as much if you could prepare yourself for certain outcomes.

- It's not very descriptive with your resources, It would be nice to know where to find certain materials.

- The story is very liner, I probably would have enjoyed this much more if the story was more descriptive.

VERDICT:
This is just about scraping a thumbs up, the idea is a good one, it's just not mapped out very well, is this due inexperienced developers? If so, it's not a terrible first attempt, I think more care needs to be given to the writing amongst everything else, the game is clearly RNG so I can't criticise that area but if the story was engaging, I would have poured more time into this game.

I'm not too surprised that this came out on a mobile device, it has all the elements for it to go far on that platform, was releasing it on PC a little too far? My outcome is an average one, it's worth playing for a short while but that's as far as it goes with this one, getting it on a 50% discount sounds the most fitting.

Total Score = 58/100.

GAMEPLAY:
Out There centers around exploration and resource management. The player starts with a ship equipped with some devices, fuel, oxygen, and hull metal, and can mine planets for more resources; a steady supply of them is necessary to continue progressing through the game.

Along the way, the player will also discover a variety of aliens in space and planetside, as well as artifacts and abandoned spaceships, which can be stripped of equipment and resources or taken over. The final goal of the game is to travel across a sector of space to a faraway solar system.

TOP FUN THINGS TO DO:
⭐️ Birthing your sisters and moulding them to how you play.
⭐️ Bosses are really fun and creative.

THE UNIQUES:
💎 Black and White art style, i'm all over this!
💎 Would make a good series if done correctly.

PLAYER GAMING REQUIREMENTS:
💼 Strategy.
💼 Turn-Based Tactics.
💼 Roguelite.

PROS:
+ The art style is my winner, not much to do with the game but the guys who did the artwork on this, deserves heaps of praise.

+ XCOM meets Dark Souls, was this a good idea? I'd say so, even if the game is very unforgiving, but the rewards are worth it.

+ Bosses are very well designed, the main reason why I stuck around as long as I did.

CONS:
- This is a timeline tactical game, this dents how the game is play due to how hard it is to read what's happening, if they tweaked this, I would have had a better perspective of the game.

- Could have done with a little more polishing before release.

- It's repetitive after the first couple of bosses, then after the third boss, it feels like a rush.

- Maps could've been designed a little better.

VERDICT:
A little bit of a mixed bag here, the game itself is fine, but I can't give it complete praise to how poor some of the mechanics are. I'd still recommend this game but please consider getting it on a discount because I promise you, some of you guys won't enjoy this.

Total Score = 53/100.

GAMEPLAY:
The game also features roguelike elements. Battles take place in small maps, and when the player's squad is defeated, they would not lose their progress and new items named "Remembrances" are unlocked. These items improve combat efficiency and allow players to survive longer. The only way to heal a fallen daughter is to sacrifice another Daughter in exchange. The surviving Daughter will have altered traits, enabling further customisations.

TOP FUN THINGS TO DO:
⭐️ It's just comedy acting!
⭐️ Choosing what YOU want to air.

THE UNIQUES:
💎 It's so close to reality that it's scary.
💎 Playing as a TV editor.

PLAYER GAMING REQUIREMENTS:
💼 Choices Matter.
💼 TV broadcaster.
💼 1980s.

PROS:
+ I've never seen a game like this before, it's so unique, you'd have to put it in it's own category.

+ There's 14 endings to reach! With numerous story branching in between.

+ The acting is top notch! You can tell the devs really enjoyed making this game.

+ It's wonderfully weird! It surprised me on how much I liked this.

CONS:
- Replaying can feel taxing since you've got to watch everything again.

VERDICT:
I'll be honest with you all, I didn't think i'd like this game. Peering from the outside, a lot of people will turn their noses against these type of games, but give this a chance, because once you've got your broadcasting down, the story is wonderfully weird and outright funny! Sure the whole concept is very unsettling but if you've got the right amount of humour, you'll see what the developers are trying to achieve. I personally think they smashed it out the park.

Total Score = 70/100.

GAMEPLAY:
The game takes place in an unnamed European country (resembling the United Kingdom) in the mid-1980s, where a new populist political party named Advance has won a surprise landslide election victory and begins to handle the country in an increasingly authoritarian dystopian fashion.

The player takes the role of Alex Winston, a studio director in a national television station, having to produce a live broadcast, play adverts, censor swear words, and avoid interference in an effort to keep the viewership high.

TOP FUN THINGS TO DO:
⭐️ Building unique drones, it's the type of game that pushes your imagination.
⭐️ I'd imagine this game would've been awesome in multiplayer.

THE UNIQUES:
💎 The drone is as imaginative as you are.

PLAYER GAMING REQUIREMENTS:
💼 Strategy.
💼 Space Sim.
💼 Building.

PROS:
+ It's so fun to experiment with different designs.

+ So many possibilities with what you're building, if you can think it, you'll be able to build it.

+ Programming your drones are so fun! You can even programme drones to make other drones!

CONS:
- Missions are very repetitive, the only thing that kept me going was building the drones.

- Music is very dull, mute the game and put your own tunes on.

- There's not much guidance in what you should be doing overall.

- Sadly the multiplayer side is dead

VERDICT:
From where this game started off to where it is now, I can happily say this game deserves to be played, Early Access was a little tough but the devs worked hard on this and got it out of the state it was in. It's so fun the build your droid up into something you could've only built up in your dreams.

Honestly it's a solid little game, the multiplayer isn't active anymore but single player isn't all that bad, it gets slightly repetitive if you play for a long period of times but it's nothing to scuff at. The other downfall is the droids don't need to be big to succeed, maybe this was different in multiplayer.

Total Score = 58/100.

GAMEPLAY:
Pick one of six diverse captains, navigate the universe full of unexpected travel events and grow your arsenal while facing overwhelming odds on a multitude of missions.

TOP FUN THINGS TO DO:
⭐️ Collecting cards, building a deck.

THE UNIQUES:
Nothing to say here.

PLAYER GAMING REQUIREMENTS:
💼 Tower Defence.
💼 Real Time Tactics.
💼 Roguelite.

PROS:
+ Three heroes to play, with different troops for each character. (Note: You do need to complete the campaign to play the other heroes.)

CONS:
- Story is very short and uninteresting, after the 5 hour mark, you've seen pretty much everything with the other heroes having the same story, just with different cards.

- The music is repetitive and annoying, ended up muting the game, the sounds aren't much good either.

- Controls are quite frustrating which is rather surprising when keyboard and mouse are rather accurate, i'm not sure how they messed this up but occasionally clicking the left mouse on a unit and dragging it on the field doesn't work.

- It feels like a mobile port, I could see this doing much better on a mobile to be honest.

- Annoying bugs! Sometimes melee units will walk back and forth while ranged units pick them clean.

VERDICT:
It's simply not worth it's price while it's in this state and since it's been taken out of Early Access, I don't see them doing anything drastic to chance my mind, you can see what the devs are trying to do here but this would've been better suited as a mobile game, which is credit towards the developers. It's just not PC worthy.

Total Score = 23/100.

GAMEPLAY:
Deck-building roguelike with an RTS twist. Build a deck. Collect and deploy undead units and raise an army to counter your enemies.

TOP FUN THINGS TO DO:
⭐️ Playing as a merchant/dungeon looter, who know these two would go well together?
⭐️ Selling stock.
⭐️ Collecting items for your shop.

THE UNIQUES:
💎 Being a merchant/dungeon looter.
💎 Upgrading your shop.

PLAYER GAMING REQUIREMENTS:
💼 Roguelite.
💼 Pixel Graphics.
💼 Hack and Slash.

PROS:
+ Biggest pro here would be the hybrid of dungeon crawling and shopkeeping, who knew that this would be a good seller!? Clearly the devs that's for sure.

+All bosses are different and unique, aside from constantly hitting them with the same attack.

+ It's very polished, you'd expect bugs with these type of games but I didn't spot any during my playthrough.

+ My playtime has been capped at 29.7 but there's enough content to go further than that, I'd push the boat out and say you could replay this game.

+ It's not overly difficult, just carry plenty of potions and you'll get through the dungeons just fine.

CONS:
- Easily the combat, it's so simple that I was growing a little tired of doing the same moves.

- The repetitiveness grows the longer you're in the same dungeon.

- Shopkeeping starts to get tedious aswell, there is an assistant that helps you sell in the later game but they get a cut of the profits.

- Story is very forgettable.

VERDICT:
The highlight to this game would be mixing dungeon crawling and shopkeeping together, it's very unique and what makes it stand out from all the other roughlite games, this is as far as it goes in those terms though, the combat is very liner along with the dungeons layout, it deserves the recognition but the devs still have a lot to learn down the combat department.

It's still worth it's asking price and to experience a very different game, I feel like I got the most out of this game, I could've done more if I wanted to but didn't feel the need to do so.

Total Score = 59/100.

GAMEPLAY:
Moonlighter has the player manage their shop during the day and go exploring at night. Shop keeping involves managing goods and receiving money, which the player can invest to upgrade the town and add services like a potion-maker and a blacksmith. These town upgrades allow the player to craft weapons, armor, and health potions, hire a part-time worker to sell things during the day, as well as upgrade the characters' equipment.

At night, the player can explore dungeons and confront hordes of enemies, which drop loot upon defeat; loot can also be found in chests once the player clears a room. The game is divided by four different dungeons, the Golem, Forest, Desert, and Tech dungeons.

⭐️ Being in an massive bunker.

THE UNIQUES:
💎 If Germany sent nuclear missile across Europe. (The greatest What If....?)

PLAYER GAMING REQUIREMENTS:
💼 Walking Simulator.
💼 Underground.
💼 WWII

PROS:
+ The graphics are top notch! This is what attracts the audience most of all, brilliant atmosphere!

+ The music and sounds are really good, such as the crunching of the snow beneath your feet and the sounds of the machinery.

CONS:
- No option to run, everything is done at a walking pace, which make it feel like they're dragging out the game for no reason.

- Very little interaction with the world, some notes to pick up and some buttons to press but nothing else.

- Ran into a couple of crashes, loaded back into the save to find i'm stuck in some railings. Had to restart the level, this happened a couple of times.

- It's short and forgettable.

VERDICT:
This is a how a Walking Simulator 101 looks like, the graphics are visually stunning which will draw you in the buy the game, I wouldn't say this is miss leading but the game doesn't have a lot to stand on other than is visuals and sounds.

The story is alright but very forgettable and short, It can be done just on the 4 hour mark, I wouldn't have minded the time length if the game was going to be memorable. To throw this game to the wolves, it also has crashes, which can trap your character. I wouldn't have minded if this was a one off, but this happened a couple of times, so I decided to call it quits on the game from there.

Total Score = 40/100.

GAMEPLAY:
You play as Szymon, a 12-year-old boy who’s just discovered a massive Nazi bunker while wandering the barren wasteland of Poland after his mother’s death. He’s searching for a mysterious man from a photograph his mother cherished.

TOP FUN THINGS TO DO:
⭐️ Building up your own case.
⭐️ Pinning it on whoever you like (Even if it's wrong).
⭐️ Collecting relics of all sorts.

THE UNIQUES:
💎 Ultimately the decision is yours... just find some convincing evidence.
💎 Building the next perfect paradise.

PLAYER GAMING REQUIREMENTS:
💼 Investigation.
💼 Exploration.
💼 Open World.

PROS:
+ Exploring the world will reward you with the evidence you need, it's also great to find all the hidden collectables.

+ You can't just push to the most logical places to start the investigation, things are locked behind pass codes.

+ You can convince the judge to side with you, even if the culprit your going for is innocent.

+ A few puzzles to solve, nothing too difficult.

CONS:
- Characters have small voice overs and sometimes it didn't match with what they were saying.

- It does start to drag near the ending.

- If you've missed certain vital evidence, the characters will confess on trail what they did, this was very annoying for me.

VERDICT:
It seems like this got positive reviews for the wrong reasons, the game is designed for you to investigate each character and build a case around your findings. What I'm seeing, is the game being labelled as a "Open World, Visual Novel" I would agree with certain points but the game still requires you to piece things together and put the evidence in the right places. So to some degree, this is a investigation, it just gives you free reign of asking a bunch of questions without any consequences.

I played this game for the investigation but I enjoyed it because of the world, being able to parkour (Once you've learnt the abilities) Is so fun to do, collecting relics along the way is always something I enjoyed doing. But would I recommend the game for what it's designed for? I'd say yes! It's fun to build up a case and pinning it on one of the characters that you didn't overly like or hardheartedly felt it was them. Just don't expect this to be a full on investigation crime scene, because it isn't.

Total Score = 63/100.

GAMEPLAY:
Players take on the role of protagonist Lady Love Dies, an investigator who is brought out of exile and tasked with uncovering the culprit(s) of a mass murder on Paradise Island. The game's open world, nonlinear design allows players to freely explore the island and interact with other characters over the course of their investigation.

TOP FUN THINGS TO DO:
⭐️ Collecting green goo? I dunno, it's for your brain....
⭐️ Trying to save your daughter, it's a hell of a ride!
⭐️ Combat/stealth is so fun!

THE UNIQUES:
💎 The monsters are so creative!
💎 The option to play this in third person or first person.
💎 It's still scary as ♥♥♥♥!

PLAYER GAMING REQUIREMENTS:
💼 Survival Horror.
💼 Dark.
💼 Action.

PROS:
+ The first thing I noticed above anything else were how much the controls have improved to the previous title, no more standing up automatically when aiming down the sights! The whole thing feels so much more polished in this area.

+ They've separated the upgrades into two parts, weapons are now upgraded on the workbench and your own abilities are upgraded in the "chair". There's still the green gel but it's no longer used for guns, only for your abilities which make much more sense!

+ A lot of craftables scattered across the map, this made the game so much more fun, being able to craft ammunition is a real game changer for these type of games.

+ The voice acting! Okay some lines are a kinda cheesy but I think this gives Sebastian some personality.

+ I like how Kidman and Sebastian talk about their time inside STEM and nothing feels forgotten, it's a nice touch.

+ The story is top notch, it's better than the first title on so many levels (Not saying the first Evil Within was terrible), they clearly took their time with the plot.

CONS:
- The ending feels a tad ruched, put it this way, the first 1-8 chapters took a little time to get through, where as the remaining chapters were over before they started, given.... this is the only con I could find.

VERDICT:
It's nice to see Sebastian again but why force this guy back into a living nightmare? To save some kid that he thought died in a house fire? Go back the bar buddy, nothing is safer than the bottom of a bottle. All jokes aside, this man is the most fearless detective I've ever played.

If you've played any of the first Evil Within, you'd understand how messed up these places can be, but this guy knows the drill and dives straight back in there to save his daughter, pure madness but one heck of a storyline! If you've played the likes of Resident Evil, Alan Wake or Silent Hill, you'll definitely like Evil Within, it's pretty much a stamped on.

I'd go as far as saying it's as good as the RE series and those are pretty amazing, it's seriously up there, I just hope they don't ruin something this great because it's obvious a third one will come out eventually. Don't delay any longer guys, buy this game!

Total Score = 94/100.

GAMEPLAY:
Similar to its predecessor, the game is a survival horror game. Played from a third-person perspective or a first-person perspective, the player assumes control of detective Sebastian Castellanos, who must descend into the world of Union to rescue his daughter, Lily.

In The Evil Within 2, maps are larger and there are multiple ways for players to advance in a level. The player is also given an item known as "The Communicator", which helps to highlight the objectives, resources and enemies featured in the game's world. It also reveals Resonance points, which provides hints regarding what had happened in the world of Union. Players can explore the map area freely to complete side objectives and scout for resources, which are scarce.

Players can engage in direct confrontation with enemies using weapons like guns, or use stealth to prevent themselves from being noticed or sneak behind enemies to kill them silently

TOP FUN THINGS TO DO:
⭐️ Learning skills, but not by levelling.
⭐️ Perfecting your attacks.

THE UNIQUES:
💎 No levelling up system.
💎 RPG elements but this is far from an RPG.

PLAYER GAMING REQUIREMENTS:
💼 Open World.
💼 Survival.
💼 Souls-like.

PROS:
+ It takes more than just one button to cast a spell, there's a about 2-4 steps to cast a spell, this is pretty unique!

+ The survival mechanics are spot on! If this was thrown into a more handheld game, I would have adored this!

+ Going on adventures takes preparation, you can't just go out there and expect an easy fight.

+ There's a co-op mode! This is a game changer for a lot of people!

CONS:
- No map markers, I can't sit here and say this is a good thing, I like a little bit of a guide on where to go, but this has nothing! Probably why I disliked this game.

- I know this is a cruel world but why make a game this cruel too? For the first 5-7 hours, you're pretty much sneaking around to scrounge up silver, that may sound like a fun game to some people but not for me.

- It's NOT an RPG if there's no form of levelling up system, I'll probably get some heat for saying this but my argument is valid!

- The weight of certain items, the game forces you to sell goods, so why make items so heavy?

VERDICT:
I'm not going to sit here and ♥♥♥♥ all over this game because I didn't like it, but i'm not going to be fake and say it's a good game. I sit with the people who don't see this as an RPG and more of a survival game with a few RPG elements. This is the biggest problem towards the game, it's borderline false advertisement since it pulls RPG players like me to buy this title.

It's a very well made game with very good survival mechanics, that's the solid truth. A lot of players will enjoy what the game is giving which makes this very hard to thumbs down but I can't ignore how misleading the game is, i'm probably going to get heat for being an ass but I'm a critic and I want to get my message across to perhaps help other gamers avoiding the trap I fell into.

If you're still curious or unsure about Outward then get it on a 50% discount, who knows, you might like this game, i'm just here to give you a little heads up.

Total Score = 58/100.

GAMEPLAY:
Outward includes several survival aspects, such as having to carefully watch one's warmth, hunger, fatigue and thirst. It's also possible for the player character to suffer from such conditions as a cold, a disease or indigestion. Losing all of one's health in battle can lead to a variety of consequences, including being imprisoned by enemies or being brought back to safety by an NPC.

The game has an auto-save system, meaning the player is unable to manually save and return to earlier saves upon death or other such setbacks. While the game has a magic system, spells were specifically designed to be challenging to obtain. Similarly, skills and stat increases must all be earned by completing quests for NPCs or paying experts to receive training. Quests have multiple outcomes, and success or failure can permanently affect the game world and how the story progresses, such as a character being convinced to stay in a faction, or an important city being permanently destroyed if the player fails to kill certain characters.
