I noticed you added Fallout 2 to your wish-list on my birthday.
One of my all-time favorite games.
Truly outstanding writing and sound-track.
Fallout 2 > Bethesda
It gives the same vibe as when you read a book and then see the movie.
9 times outta 10, the book is always better.
Fallout 2 is like that.
The atmosphere, colorful writing, humor, grit, the whole world created by BlackIsle and Interplay is like non-other.
PLEASE - I make this one strong recommendation and can vouch for this:
After you install it on Steam, you should install the :
Fallout2_Restoration_Project v28.
You can find it on Github if you search for that ^ .
It will make the experience THAT much more enjoyable, trust me.
Fallout might feel a little out dated, but the Restoration Project will help ease that transition.
Just hang in there through the Temple of Trials and give it a chance.
You'll be happy you did once it sucks you in.
