I had enjoyed the game but more than a few times I have lost my progress entirely which is frustrating as I feel the later game is far more interesting. The campaign alterations made some stuff more of a chore and I found myself fighting to get back to having the largest ships unlocked. Now that I have lost my save for a 3rd time (without warning), I sadly must say I am giving up on this. Maybe once the game is done and they quit causing issues between updates, then I'd try playing it again.

Conceptually, dismantling ships is sort of a huge puzzle, and dismantling an entire ship and getting ~95% properly processed is very satisfying. Losing progress after many hours however, and not being able to play the full aspect of the game, is a no go for me.

I am also going to add that there is a bug that prevents you from using your scanner (which has been around for almost the entire time I played the game, I remember using it in my first playthrough) but it has not been fixed, regardless of purchasing all the upgrades etc.
