This really is a brilliantly well made game. Hats of the developers, voice actors and all involved.

I found the level design to be very frustrating. Some sort of map would be helpful

Great remaster of one of my favourite childhood games.

I stand with Mick Gordon - don't play or buy this game

Charming, Zen, Relaxing, Beautiful. The start of a brilliant little game that sits right in with titles like Stardew Valley, Don't starve and Subnautica.

A very competent little survival/craft 'em up. I've poured over 1,000 hours into different games like this and this one sits comfortably with the all time greats. A very impressive achievement considering it only released yesterday.

This game has a huge amount of potential and it is clear that the team have a wonderful vision in mind. The current iteration of the game is very enjoyable and I look forward to seeing further updates as they roll in.

I really do recommend this game and I do give it a lot of leeway given it has only just released in Early Access. I have a couple of little gripes with it but I'll update this review over time to check in - pros and cons below.

PRO
-Gorgeous visuals
-Awesome house building, very accessible and rewarding.
-Nurtures curiosity
-Can space out, relax and enjoy the game very easily.
-I am actually excited for this one.

CONS

(I think these will either be tweaked or fixed over time so don't let this put you off!)

-Enemies in caves spawn constantly until their nest is destroyed, this can be a bit overbearing and I hope they either extend the duration between enemy spawns or consider placing a max spawn cap on each nest.

-Overworld is a little threadbare at the moment. But it definitely plays much better than Ark did in EA.

-Simple crafting mechanics make the game very welcoming at the start, but the later parts of the crafting part of the game start to feel a tad grindy.

TL:DR - It needs a lot more work. There's a lot you can do, but no reason why.

Once this hits full release (assuming it does as it has been in EA for a minute.) It may well be worth the money. I appreciate that it is likely a small dev team working on this - It'll need a lot more time in the oven before it really starts to take shape.

Lovely concept though. Hope they continue to work on it.

Barely worked on my rig. Had to refund. Alas.

This game has a lot of design issues.

Braindead AI make the whole thing seem pointless. The environment is drab and the timeloop concept becomes boring very quickly.
