My name is Max, I'm 22 years old, male, my birthday is on 23rd of October. I live in Western Siberia, Russia, and work as both English teacher and a translator. Languages that I speak include Russian (native), English (pretty much fluent) and German (I don't practice it a lot since I mostly do German-to-Russian and vice versa translations). Translation of foreign texts is my main job, teaching kids being more of a side stuff.

Speaking about my personality, I'm an introvert, a very reserved person, also, I tend to avoid verbal and all other conflicts. However, I really enjoy talking to different kinds of people I meet online, as it seems like a great opportunity for personal and professional growth to me. Mind you, once you get to know me well enough, my huge ego may sometimes be a real pain to deal with. My hobbies are linguistics, cinema (movies and TV series), video games, and the last but not least, literature. Another crucial thing to note, I adore everything controversial and provocative when it comes to art, so keep that in mind.

Favorite games: Yakuza/Like a Dragon series, Batman Arkham series, Metal Gear series, Geometry Dash, Max Payne. Actually, there are too many of those.

Favorite movie director: Lars von Trier, but I also like how Stanley Kubrick and David Lynch tend to do their work. To be honest, I'm a cinema addict overall, it's just that I prefer watching arthouse or something similar to it.

Favorite TV series: The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, House M.D.

Favorite singers/music bands: Rammstein, David Bowie, Depeche Mode. I love electronic and rock, metal music. Even better if it's a mix.

Favorite authors: Vladimir Sorokin, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Leo Tolstoy. If I had to choose from foreign literature, those are Stephen King and Irvine Welsh. My most favorite book is Moby-♥♥♥♥ by Herman Melville.
