Its an early access that runs well, easy to invite and join friends and set up games. Overall looks and feels satisfying enough to outshine something like Squad or Ready or Not in its current form.

I don't care about the variable optics not having controls to change the magnification because after taking a closer look at the streamer mission and find out who you actually arrest the devs are pretty based and forgiven.

AI sucks at using shields though.

This game used to be a cool idea that was a mod for Half Life 2 in 2006 and since then all we've gotten is a cool face lift and undelivered promises of a singleplayer with a story. Multiplayer matches with dynamic entrances to immerse you into the scenario you're looking at. Instead they cut the singleplayer completely, coop is just bot survival, and multiplayer is no more creative than a source death match mod trying to be cooler than call of duty. Instead of settling for cheap cash grabs they call DLC and cosmetics they should've focused on making a better game of what used to be a really cool mod.

If you have more than 3 friends that want to play find something else because this game is gonna be sea of servers just so you can try to play with more people than the average xbox 12 year old.

Genuinely a great game to play with friends thats a very enjoyable balance of arcade action and tactical play. Yes sadly the devs released a "final update" update as they felt they were "done" making the game but the workshop mods work very well in game and do make nice additions to the base game.

Me an a couple dumb friends on a Friday night with a couple tanks managed to break a stalemate and lead a push to take two whole sectors and meme our way to a mountain of stacked bodies. I joined a group of partisans and wiped two enemy squads to then sit by a campfire and rabble about the game, life, and etc... I have found a video game to replace my time of being a peacetime notional warfighter in the army and I love it.

If you ever played JAWS for the PS2 and always kinda wanted to see a better and updated version this is it. Its kinda rough around the edges with combat against other fish and hunters but overall visuals are great, plenty of gore and its a power trip when you start leveling up. Whole lot of fun when you wanna have a couple after work and murder everything around you.

I spent an hour and a half listening to a radio station play music with my crew sipping coffee and watching a youtube video in the background and I was suddenly alerted with ALARM PROPELLER LÄRME IN DER NÄHE and immediately went into unrestricted submarine warfare mode and sank a convoy of tankers and transports aiding the allied war effort. After the battle ended (only lasted maybe 15 min or so) I went back to listening to an English radio station sipping my coffee for an hour with nothing happening... 10/10
