The game is ok in what it delivers. However if you like adult games such as Visual novels. this is not the same..

There is more interaction, and I can best sum it up with the following.

- 60% adventure, story and battle game.
- 25% humor and good quality voice over.
- 15% Adult content.

Its fun, its funny and on rare occasion, erotic.

After watching Sky Storm vids on YTube, I was very interested.
After playing it on release day, It is in every way what I saw on the vids.
Very enjoyable game, nice visuals, animations and mechanics.

This was an interesting game in development, however like most early access games I was at a point of having fun. I had climbed the learning curve and then suddenly there was an update.

I am not sure why a game that is being made would be a fun game, then remove certain elements that made it fun in order to increase grind. This made the game much less enjoyable and I moved on to other titles.

Non-VR player:

I wasn't sure about Derail Valley at first, but after a few hours I was hooked.

A good sim, active developer, active mod community. what more could a train enthusiast ask for.

I like the way the jobs system works. Similar to truck driving games where you get to choose which load you want to take. Get your cargo there without derailing and you make some cash.

I look forward to the upcoming updates that looks to improve an already great concept. And unlike other train sims, you don't have 7,000.00 in DLCs on deck for content.

Highly recommended.

I got the game when it first released for early access. In the beginning I was enthusiastic about the game. There was a lot of placeholders and incomplete aspects of the game at the time. For example:

- No use for leather
- no names for the people (woman 864)
- buildings being built from the top down instead of the butttom up.
( church cross on top built before anything else )
( keep roof before the base )

Since then there have been a number of stability patches and Dev blogs explaining what they plan to do, but have still not been done.

Man 765 still doesn't know what to do with the leather.

And sadly within the Dev Blogs there is no mention about fixing these fundamental laps in content. Instead the focus is on Mods and other content.

I find it strange that the course of development after 3 months has not managed to complete the leather production chain, or provide names for the people...

The game may one day live up to what was intended.. But I fear this will happen at an incredibly slow pace. There's a lot of talk.. but no action...

You know there is a problem when after 3 months:
- the player base went from 4,000 to 300
- there has been no completion of current content or introduction of new content.
- you have 6 Dev blogs telling you what will be.. without any updates in between.
- Forum discussions get locked at an increasing rate

I have seen Early Access developers put out updates weekly... I realize not all of them do this.. But after 3 months the only movement on this game has been the exodus of its player base...

Come back in a year and perhaps Man 765 will finally know what to do with the leather...

Very disappointing,

As of April 19, 2019 ver 1.4.0 the game remains broken and unplayable from start to finish. Over time the save game gets corrupted and all kinds of odd AI behaviour begins to happen.

Planes that for no reason get destroyed without any enemy engagement. Enemy carriers launching planes to attack a target that is not there.

This was not sold as an early access title, however it has more bugs in it than many EA game I have played in the last year.

As such I cannot recommend this game. It is unfinished, unplayable and disappointing.

Uninstalled with hopes it gets fixed some day so I can try again.

I bought this game because it said "singleplayer" on the store page. I favor the singleplayer survivalist style of gaming. And I was hoping this was what I was looking for.

However; without options to create the level of difficulty I would actually enjoy, one is forced to deal with Mechs which make no sense having them on an abandoned patch of land meant to be a prison whereby you have to survive by living off the land and abandoned towns.

I have not played since Sep 13 2018 because there was no game options regarding level of difficulty with mechs and zombies.

It was mentioned, it was asked for, and what did they work on? yep.. a scoreboard..

This might be fine for the Multi player in mind. But all it did was discourage the single player group. And like many others.. I moved on to other games.

I have Cities Skyline with every DLC, I have played SimCity from the very first version to the Electronic Arts launch fiasco, I have all the Tropico series, I have played countless builder and transportation games such as Train Fever and the like.. And I must say.

This by far the best city building game I have seen yet. The details are in transportation, energy, logistics and product chains. and this game does all of that and more.. It may still be in development, but already this one is my favorite and I can't see myself going back to the other titles now that I have had a taste of this one.

If you are a big time builder genre buff... This one is for you...

I think this has got to be one of the most successful launches of a "completed" game I seen in a long time..

Kind of nice to play a game that is not in early access .

Bought the game on sale during the Christmas sale for 15 bucks.. Bought a second copy for a friend.. game kept crashing.. 6 times in 2 hours.. both copies have been refunded..

Shame. it looked nice..
